I have been to Tel Aviv and went to the Friday market where I bought
fabulous clay dragon puppets. The owner also has a stand in Jeruselum.
My puppets broke in shipping and I want to buy more.
Do you know this lady and how I can reach her to buy more dragon puppets?
Does she have a web site?

I am also trying to search for fabulous sandals that I bought in a lovely shoe shop called CALIGVLA in Tel Aviv. I could not find them on the web...do you know if they go by a different name? I wanted to buy more black sandals.

Can anyone tell me if it is worth visiting Israel imbetween November, December, to January? I know little about the middle east and know nothing about how the weather will be during that time. Where I live it is murky and depressing during those months and I want to make sure it will not be the same in Israel. I want to bike from town to town (on the roads if I can). Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you much.

I will be arriving in Tel-Aviv in July for the whole month. I will be with 2 other friends. Any recommendations on budgetted accomodations for the month in Tel-Aviv....close to nightlife/beach (doesn't have to be right on the beach but near or a few blocks away). I saw people post homeless.co.il but i dont read hebrew. Any other suggestions?

I may have to stay overnight in Tel Aviv on the night of March 29th.
I allready checked the HI hostel at Bney Dan st. and they are fully booked.
Another place I checked say they only have single rooms available. I would prefer a dorm bed to save my money.
Anyone can help me?

P.S.: I am Israeli, and I have previousely encountered with hostels that don't wellcome Israelis. Shame on them!

I am arriving in Tel Aviv on Friday 27th July at 15:05 and need to travel on to Hadera. I note that the trains stop running before I land. Will be able to get a taxi? I am leaving on 4th August at 17:05 and again the trains will not be running.

How do you arrange to visit this place? How about finding a particular grave stone? A name and/or phone number would help.

Will be in Tel Aviv from 20th March to 27th March and would prefer an apartment for 7 days rather than a hotel. I did scan the forum and found some links to agencies that rent out apartments but lost the slip of paper that a wrote on and did not bookmark the links and cannot find them on the forum now !

Being a football fan, my most important question about Tel Aviv is......... How much on average for a beer in a bar!!???

I am planning a trip (just me!) to Tel Aviv in March and I prefer to stay in apartments rather then hotels. I have found on the internet that there are some apartments near Dizengoff Street which are aparantly located in the center of Tel Aviv adjacent to Dizengoff Circle (wherever that is !).
Is this location central for nightlife/restaurants etc? Are they in a good location ? Can you walk to the seafront from this location ?

Also, on VT, there are two Tel Aviv locations being "district" and "Yafo". What is the difference? Are they far apart ? what is the best area ?

Myself and several other fans from Glasgow, UK, are coming over in February for the Hapoel v Rangers UEFA Cup game. We would be very grateful for any information on where to go (bars/clubs etc) and where to avoid.

Also any miscellaneous information on Hapoel itself would be great as we dont really get to hear much about Israeli football in the UK.

I am looking for a room in Tel Aviv for a period of 2 months. I will be doing an internship. I will get to Israel on the 22nd January and I will leave on the 29th March. Unfortunately my Hebrew is not good enough for the forum pages already suggested in previous answers.
It would be great, if anybody can help me out. I am not picky about accomodation. A room with a bed and a table in a aclean apartment and some cool flatmates would be more than enough.

Anyone know what there is to do in Tel Aviv for CHanuka - i.e. special lighting of chanukia or street parties etc. Is there anything at any of the squares (Rabin?) I have looked on the municipality sites but there is no information....
