does anybody know a good airport transfer company to negril thats pretty cheap and can have quality treats waiting for me(green)? also i am playing on honeymooning and need advise on a place with villas at the cliffs, any help? and if your not cool, dont respond

Hello. My name is John and I just have a couple questions that I want to throw out there. My fiance' and I thought we were going to have a Wedding/Honeymoon about a year from now. We also thought that the low months of the year, hurricane season, would be better to go because of the price.

We ended u deciding that we are probably going in August sometime. We chose the Caves Resort in Jamaica. Does anybody have anything to say about that resort or anything particular about going in that time of the year for that specific area (I know nobody can predict the weather, but im just curious is all).


Can anybody help us out with ANY information at all about the resort or the area of Negril itself. This IS our first time doing this afterall...

How much was it to go hoarseback riding in Negril?

Has anyone had any experiences with the Seagrape Villas in Negril? Looking to stay there in March but haven't made up my mind yet... thanks.

I'm planning to holiday in Negril between the 17th and 29th of May this year. I've asked someone whether I'm going for too short a holiday and I was told that 4-5 days is sufficient. If that's the case, what does one do with the rest of the days? Are the other islands safe? I've got family on Negril, but if I was to travel to other places I'd probably go by myself, is that safe for a female?

I love the outdoors and so doing as much research as I want to make the most of my time there. Any suggestions?

We will be leaving for a month in Jamaica on the 29th of January and as usual we will be staying at Roots Bamboo Cabins for the first two weeks. We then plan to explore the Hope Wharf area for 3 or 4 days then return to Roots.. Has anyone been there and can you give us any tips on accomodations. We would like the cabin type of accomodations near the beach.This is my 42 or so trip to Jamaica and am interested in looking a little further into the island.Anywhere up past Bluefields is what we are looking for. I'm intending to spend 10 days on march in Negril. we are in the phase of choosing a resort, but it will be our first time there and we don't have a clue. We'd love to stay in a Resort right on the beach, with rates less that 200USD per room, in a non-overcrowded area, preferentially with bungallows.
any hint will be appreciated.

I will be visiting Montego Bay on a cruise some time in December and I want to get from Montego Bay to Negril(and back). Can anyone advise on the taxi service from the dock, typical fare and the scams to look out for.

we had a great time last year but our pool was very very dirty. although we're not picky as we are looking or cheap accommodations....we would like a kitchen and a clean pool. any suggestions are really appreciated. Can't wait t go back

I was told to go here for expert advice on a problem I will have in about a year. I am getting married in Negril, Jamaica and my father is going to be my best man. The problem is he is not going to fly under any conditions.

My question is can I get a boat or cruise ship to take him to Negril, Jamaica from the USA (I would like it to be along the east or south east coast if possible?) and then take him back to the USA three days later? If so what do you recommend? If I could get him there and back for less then $3000.00 USD it would be great!

I would have a limo pick him up and drive him to the USA coast and then drive him back when he gets back from Jamaica (atleast I think this is possible?) Do you think this is even possible?

Ok so many questions where do I start? Im staying at hedonism 2 in Negril, anyone been there? In Jamaica is it a better Idea for me to leave the jewelry at home? What about being a single woman should I be deathly afraid? What about crime at Hedonism 2,very MUCH? outside the compunds walls of Hedonsim aweful?

How do we get on a "shuttle" or tour bus from Montego Bay to Negril if we aren't actually part of a vacation tour package? If we don't want to take a taxi, but rather ride on a bus with others. Can we pre-arrange that before we leave america w/ a company or do we just hope there is a bus at the airport that has room for us? Please advise. We are going in april. Thank you.
