Nassau Where to shop...
Posted: Wed April 2, 2008 08:20 PM UTC
I am going to be travelling to Nassau this month. I will be staying at the Hilton and I am looking for a good place to buy some fresh fruit and vegetables while I am there. Not huge amounts. Just enough to keep me snack-happy while I am there. I am also looking for good places to stop and eat. Not the typical restaurants that everybody knows about. Something more out of the way and quiet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Nassau Looking for all inclusive
Posted: Thu February 28, 2008 05:41 PM UTC
Anyone know a good all-inclusive resort. My husband and I will be out in March for a long weekend and I want to get as much value as you can from all inclusive. he feels we should stay on the beach, in our resort and enjoy it all. I would rather try different cuisine and check the island out. At least we are getting away, I will go all inclusive to make him happy! I have seen the Atlantis and Sandals, I was hoping there was something a bit cheaper out there to enjoy. Anybody know a good place???

Thanks in advance.

Nassau Out of the Way Beach
Posted: Mon February 4, 2008 10:01 PM UTC
I am taking my first cruise and will be in Nassau for 1 day. I really want to go to a beach that isn't a parking lot of people. I have done a lot of research and have been suggested Love beach but I can not find it on the map. Also I looked through satalite photos of the island and saw what looks like a out of the way beach at Clifton Point. Any information on these beaches or any other ideas? Thanks alot.

My family and I will be in Nassau over christmas, We would like to know if anyone can suggest eating places for typical Bahamian fare (Cracked Conch, boiled fish , fish stew etc), We are not restricted to any one location on the Island. Nassau Camping in Nassau or Cheap lodging option
Posted: Fri November 23, 2007 12:05 AM UTC
Hi...I am traveling to Nassau on a shoe-string budget. I would rather spend money on food and fun then on lodging. Is there any possibility of camping? Or a cheap hostel/Bed&Breakfast option?

Nassau SANDALS ROYAL BAHAMIAN are they Kiteboarding Friendly ?
Posted: Wed May 16, 2007 09:18 PM UTC
I am visiting Nassau Bahamas Sandaks Royal Bahamian in Mid-July 2007 and was wondering if anyone knew if they allow you to ride on their property?

Are there riding spots near the Sandal's property?
Their Island just off the coast looks like a real Sweet spot.

I am a PASA Level I Instructor and a PASA Level 3 Rider.

Any information, links, maps to riding spots or links to discussion boards would be much appreciated.

Thank You

Nassau Where to stay in Nassau
Posted: Mon April 16, 2007 09:43 PM UTC
I confess I am a bit puzzled. I am planning a stay in Nassau (Bahamas) from November 7 to November 13 coming from Miami.

I have not a precise map neither on my guide book nor on Internet and I wish to find a hotel which is close to Nassau City and on the beach.
Could you tell me where it must be ?

The hotels I find on internet are either expensive or signaled as dirty or not reliable.

Could you suggest me a good hotel matching the following requirements :
- on the beach
- with breakfast
- clean
- price less than 120$ per night for 2

Thanks a lot

Nassau June weather in Nassau
Posted: Mon April 16, 2007 01:28 PM UTC
im flying to Nassau this June and we're thinking either first week or 2nd weeek of June, and does it really matter weather wise? I mean, should we expect a lot of rain already by this time?

Also, has anyone stayed at the Cove in Atlantis? Any feedbacks?

Thanks.

Nassau Atlantis
Posted: Mon February 12, 2007 03:32 AM UTC
This summer my family is going on a Disney cruise to Nassau. One of the "excursions" you can take is a trip to Atlantis. You get a ride over to Atlantis and access to the beach at Atlantis but not the slides or pools. This cost about $65.00. My sister told me that when she and her husband were in Nassau last year they had stayed at the Comfort Inn and they were given a bracelet to wear that got them into Atlantis and they were able to go to the beach and run around. She said she thinks they only paid $13.00 to go from town to Atlantis by taxie. So I have a few questions??? Is it cheaper to take a taxie over the bridge to Atlantis and once there can I just go in and go to the beach or do I need to pay to have use of the beach?? I noticed someone wrote in and said they snuck in to the beach.

Nassau The Best Time to Visit
Posted: Tue January 30, 2007 07:45 AM UTC
When is the best time to visit the Bahamas?

June-Nov is Hurricane Season and May-Oct is Rainy Season.

I know that some rainy seasons aren't as bad and I would never dream of going during Hurricane Season.

So when is the best time to go?

Nassau With a budget of $3000 US including transportation/hotel, what do you suggest me to do?
Posted: Fri December 15, 2006 04:42 PM UTC
I'm planning to go at winter 2007 for 1 week with my friends after graduating. We will be around 6 people. It will be my first time in the caribbeans. I would like to do snorkeling/scuba diving/parasailing. My swimming skill is very poor so does the place have good trainers? Where do you suggest me to go? How much did the whole trip cost to you? What shouldn't i miss? I don't want to be ruined.

Thank you for your advices

Nassau Need info please.
Posted: Sat December 2, 2006 06:41 PM UTC
I am wanting to fly into Nassau, go visit the Hard Rock Cafe, and get back to the airport within a few hours. Is this possible?
One trip I could do would give me about 4 hours from touchdown to take-off and another one would give me 6 hours.
How are the NAS custom procedures on arrival and departure? How quickly can I get to town and back?

I am trying to visit all the Hard Rocks of the world.
Also, I work for an airline, so the flights are no big deal for me.
Thank you in advance.

Nassau snokeling in Nassau
Posted: Sun November 5, 2006 09:21 PM UTC
My husband and I are taking our kids--22 and 29 to Nassau on a Carnival cruise. We would like to go snokeling and hang out at a nice beach for the day in Nassau (Nov 17th) but we really don't want to spend the 45.00 pp to get there and back that they charge on the ship. We have our snorkel equipment already. Can you help me with transportation to one of the pretty snorkel beaches? Thanks! Kathie
