Paradise Island Atlantis Resort Meal Plans
Posted: Sat April 18, 2009 01:19 AM UTC
We are planning a trip in June but are confused about the meal plans. Different web sites indicate different restaurants under the regular or gourmet plans. Our main question is if eating at other than a buffet, is there a special menu at the restaurants for those opting for the meal plan or is it a choice of any one entre' from their regular menu? Also, for anyone that has used a meal plan do you have any advice as to best times or particular restaurants to concentrate on using? One more question on the meal plans, is the charge for the meal made to your room then deducted at checkout or no indication made on your bill at all whether you used it or not? Thank you in advance for your reponse.

Paradise Island The ferry water taxi from Nassau to Paradise Island
Posted: Fri July 18, 2008 07:30 PM UTC
I am taking a cruise to Nassau next week. I wondered if I could take the ferry water taxi from the harbor to Paradise island and Atlantis and stay at Atlantis resort for a few hours and then return back on the ferry taxi? Also is it easy to walk to the Atlantis resort from where the ferry water taxi stops?

Paradise Island eating in
Posted: Mon June 23, 2008 02:13 AM UTC
Could someone tell me where the nearest Winn Dixie or other marketplace would be? We are traveling with three families, 8 kids, and need snacks, milk, etc.

Do the rooms have refrigerators/microwaves? Would you suggest bringing a cooler? Are there ice machines available?

Thanks! Gracias!

Posted: Sat June 21, 2008 06:02 AM UTC
What if we will stay besides the Atlantis and want to go to the water parc. Is there a way for us to get passes at the towel counters? How much should we expect to pay for a day at the parc? Are there any way to buy wristbands for sheap?

Paradise Island Atlantis - Refillable Drink Cups?
Posted: Tue May 20, 2008 12:06 AM UTC
Going to visit Atlantis in July 08. Someone told me that when they visited, the resort (restaurants?) sold large refillable plastic drink cups. They told me that the resort won't inform you, but that those cups can be refilled for free while you are there. Does this sound remotely familiar to anyone? Thanks

Has anyone tried the Ocean Club Tuesday night Seafood BBQ buffet? Is it worth the money?

Any comments on Mosaic? Is food that different from the other dinner buffets?

Paradise Island COST OF SEAFOOD IN RESTAURANTS
Posted: Wed October 3, 2007 06:04 PM UTC
One thing I do spend money on is good food and wine but compared to Mexico the Carribean and in particular Nassue is overpriced for seafood. Considering they can walk out and get it. I have never in my life met a small pan pizza that was worth 23.00. Flour water tommato cheese ??

Compared to Paradise Island and Cable Beach Mexico is a bargin

Paradise Island handicapped transportation
Posted: Sat December 9, 2006 02:55 AM UTC
Hi, I'm trying to plan a vacation/wedding in May 2007 for my family of 7. My 12 yr old son is in a wheelchair and I need to find out how to get him from the airport to the Atlantis resort in Nassau. I don't care what it costs, we need to make sure we can get him to the resort or we can't book the trip. The wheelchair does not fold up but can sit in the back of a van. Can you help?

thanks,

Paradise Island cell phones & internet
Posted: Fri July 28, 2006 02:24 AM UTC
The only way I can go on a family vacation to Atlantis is if I'll be able to send and recieve email and use my (or a rented) cell phone. I know it's not the point of going, but it's the only to be sure I'll have a business when I get home. Does anyone have any first hand experience? Any tips?
Thank you.

Can anyone suggest a place on Paradise Island to buy reasonably priced beachwear such as women's bathing suits or board shorts? Is this sort of stuff readily available?

Finding stuff at home in the off season is impossible!

Thanks.

Paradise Island Honeymooning @ Breezes 10/2-10/8
Posted: Fri September 24, 2004 08:58 PM UTC
We were supposed to go to Breezes on 9/11, but it got canceled due to Frances. Now we are rescheduled to go on 10/2. What do you think are chances are, due to Jeanne coming? How are things looking, we really dont hear much about the Bahams, & whats actually going on there, just FL. If we are able to go, do you think that everything will be open & we will have things to do? How is the island now, I have looked on bahamas.com & everything seems to be open, but you never know.
Any info would be great !!!! Thanks

Paradise Island Atlantis for 22 year olds?
Posted: Sun July 18, 2004 09:55 PM UTC
Hi guys,
About to start a Masters in September so my parents (the nice people that they are) are taking me to the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island. I've been looking at the website and other reviews and stuff and I'm sure that I can find things to do during the day. I just wondered if anyone knew of anything to do on the night (probably on or close to the resort). I'll be by myself so if anyone else is around between 16-30 August give me a shout! :)

Cheers Guys.
