Hi. Does anybody please know if there is any budget accomodation in the town of Tabay near Merida? There used to be a hotel named the "Posada Turística Tabay" at the main town square - is it still open? Thanks.

about the following I would be very grateful. I am looking for an apartment for
two for about 6 months.I would appreciate any information about safety at this
time,and about crime (Heard there are currently violent demonstrations at the

I will be traveling to Merida within the next 3 weeks with 3 friends. We will be staying at the La Trucha Azul. Does anyone know anything about this property? And what is a typical day like in Merida? Climate, shopping, dining? Do we need to have a car to get around?
