Me and my sister will be there Friday! Very excited.. Is the Sun out for us? Can anyone suggest the best day trips to do to other islands,etc?

I was wondering if anyone had any input in terms of staying in fertilia instead of alghero? Fertilia has an inexpensive youth hostel -- but I am wondering if it's really worth it to stay ther instead of alghero? thanks for your help! alex

My sister and are are visiting Alghero in June.. The website site I have looked at dont really give you an idea of cost of meals, drinks, etc.
Also anyone got any ideas on the weather.. again have been on 3 sites and they are all different!? ha ha |

We'll be staying in Porto Alabe in May and would like to know how easy it is to get from Alghero to Bosa. Most people seem to recommend a hire car but I'd like to avoid that if at all possible. Are there any direct buses, and if so, how frequent are they? We'll be arriving on a Saturday.
Also, could anyone advise how much spending money we'll need? The last time I visited Italy was pre-Euros so don't really have any idea about the cost of eating out etc. Having read the other posts it seems like a great place to visit so looking forward to it! |
