Hello :-)

this is a question I am asking for a colleague (non-VTer) who is looking for a family friendly apartment at Lago di Bolsena. She, hubby and two kids (7 and 9) did some daytrips to Capodimonte during another holiday and the kids were absolutely thrilled with lake and location.
They are looking for a self-catering apartment, ideally in a holiday village/resort/compound/complex (I don't know the proper English word) near the lake. They found one, called Residence Valdilago (Val di Lago on Google Earth):
http://www.italyfarmhousesrental.com/Valdilago/home.htm
but have heard that it is nearby a campground where people would party until 3 in the night :-)

Lago di Bolsena has an excellent website with a huge list of all kinds of accommodation:

But I wanted to ask first if one could recommend any in particular.
They don't have specific requirements for a village, just look for a nice place, ideal for the kids, access to the lake (or not that far from the lake), an apartment with 2 bedrooms and a complex where the kids can run around freely.

Thanks in advance :-)
Ingrid

Hi,
your journal is great. I've been to the towns of Marta and Capodimonte on the lake but don't recognize this town...what is it???
Thanx,
Divis
