Hi
We are going to stay 3 nights in Cortona in June (as a part of our trip in Tuscany and Umbria). We'd like to have some trips, most probably to Pienza,Montepulciano and Lago di Trasimeno.
We have found this car rental company:
http://www.autonoleggioilgirasole.it/index.en.php
Do you have any experience with them?
What do you recommend for daily trip?
Thanks
Gabor from Hungary

This is our first trip to Italy and we would like to stay in or around Cortina. Can anyone recommend a quaint/romantic, villa/farmhouse? Something with nice views, interesting local owners. English speaking not neccesary. We really want to experiance an 'authentic' Italy.

Thanks,
Dan & Lin

We're renting a car from Siena and we might have to return it in Cortona. Then take the bus from Cortona to Florence. Is there a regular bus from Cortona to Florence? Where do we board it in Cortona and where would it stop in Florence? How long is the ride? Thanks!

Is there a bus from Cortona to the train station in Florence in the morning on a Thursday?.How long does it take? Other ways to get to the train if you don't have a car. Thanks. Carol in Ann Arbor

We bought a painting (800 euro or $1025 U.S.) on Oct. 5, 2006 from the following location as indicated on the gallery's business card:
Galleria Nazionale di Bruno Cosignani
Direttore - Gian Luca Cosignani
Via Nazionale, 4 presso Palazzo Alticozzi
52044 Cortona - AR
Tel. 0575 605184. Her e-mail is www.alticozzigallery.com
Her website is info@alticozzigallery.com
The painting was to be sent to arrive at our home in the U.S. by Nov. 1. E-mails we've sent to the gallery will not go through, and we are notified that the e-mail address and website cannot be contacted. Do you know this gallery and how we can contact it? Send reply to jadams46@cfl.rr.com. Thank you.
