Hi,

1. I will be spending 3 days at the Iguaze Falls Area, where else should I go if i have extra days/ times after visting the fall.

2. Which bus has the service from Iguazu-> Buenos Aires.
I am a female travler, first time going to Brazil alone. Is Taking a bus to BA safe?? I know that the bus is about 20hrs long, are they comfortable at all?

3. Any suggestion for stayin? Clean and SAFE hostels or cheap hotel( below USD$100)

Foz do Iguaçu Transport from Iguassu to De Cataratas hotel
Posted: Thu April 28, 2005 08:50 PM UTC
Can anyone tell me if there is an easy way to get to the hotel De Cataratas from the airport. Are there taxis and how much do they cost, or is there a bus? I have asked the hotel and they do not have their own transport. We will be there in November 2005. Any information will be gratefully received.

Foz do Iguaçu Foz to Buenos Aires
Posted: Sat April 2, 2005 01:32 AM UTC
I was wondering how long a bus ride is from the foz to BA and about how much it costs. Also I was curious to know if the route went through any other countries other than Brasil and Argentina. Thank you so much!

Foz do Iguaçu Two bus rides in southern Brazil
Posted: Fri January 14, 2005 09:59 PM UTC
Greetings from cold Seattle.

I'm going to Porto Alegre for the World Social Forum this month. And would like to see a bit of Brazil.

I'd like to visit the falls. Can I catch a bus from Porto Alegre to Iguacu? How long a ride would that be.

Also, I'd like to go from Iguacu to Montevideo. Can I catch a bus? How long is the ride?

Thanks a million. Henry

Foz do Iguaçu accomodations
Posted: Thu January 6, 2005 08:35 PM UTC
hello, i am planning a trip to the falls in a week or so. i will be leaving from b. aires. i would like to stay at the falls to capture as much of it as possible , say three days at the least. is there anywhere to stay that is cheap. i am on a tight budget, being the end of my journies in south america. i will start out on the argentinian side then to brazil, unless i can stay on the argentinian side and easily explore the brasilian side. from the falls i am going to florianopolis then to porto allegre.

can i get a bus to florianopolis from the falls.

any suggestions would help, also hints on how to best enjoy the falls, i want to explore it alone, that is without a tour. thanks much

Foz do Iguaçu Midnight Arrival in Iguacu - Hotel Options?
Posted: Mon August 30, 2004 12:25 AM UTC
Hi,
My flight to Iguacu airport arrives at about 1140PM, and I was told that if I go into town, I'd have to pass by the airport in the morning to get to the Falls anyway. Are there any good options near the airport? At that time of night, I'd also be willing to spend a bit more on a place that would come pick my wife and me up. Also, for the next night or two, are there any comfortable hotels to recommend? I'm not on a particularly tight budget, but I'm also not one to splurge on luxuries either.
Thanks in advance.

I have tried to locate reasonable airfares into foz but the lowest one way fare is UDS $250, which is very high for such a short flight. Does anyone know of a reasonable ,one way flight.,airline, ETC. way to get from rio to foz? PLease help me...I so want to experience the FOZ! Thank s, JAY

Foz do Iguaçu Traveling to Foz do Iguacu
Posted: Wed October 29, 2003 03:50 AM UTC
I'm going to be traveling to Brazil on November 8. I will be in Rio for 3-4 days and then I would love to visit the Foz do Igaucu. I have been looking for air between Rio and Iguacu and I have been finding rates of 205.usd. one-way. Does anybody know if it is less expensive to purchase the air ticket in Rio? Any suggestions?
