How easy is it to turn up in Diu to find budget/middle priced accommodation un reserved? Can anyone recommend any places to try and does anyone have an e-mail address or web site for any accommodation that they have personally stayed in? Considering a visit about November. Grateful for any information as there is little in any guidebook I have looked up

I plan to visit Diu sometime soon and was wondering what the weather there is like in Jan/Feb.
Also what is the best train/air route to get there from Mumbai or Bangalore. Any information names and telephone numbers of good,clean reasonably priced hotels in Diu proper would be greatly appreciated. PS: I have heard of a church, now converted into a hotel, anyone stayed there? is it a good place to stay for about 5 days? |

hi all!
i plan a trip to diu at around about the dec 20.has any VTelr been there at chrismas time?any clues to the expected crowd will be appreciated.i`m over the partying age but would of course love to meet mature travellers,both indian and foreigners. all informations and advice about the island will be greatly appreciated. many thanks. malvin ps.i`ll travel from delhi by train and any advice on this will be very helpful too! |
