Does any1 know if its straightforward to get from Mumbai CSTM terminus station to the the Salvation Army Red Shield Hostel on Mereweather rd, Colaba at 6am?

is there a cloak room in the station?

Hi I'm arriving in Mumbai from Egypt Jan 12 at 16:30 hours. Don't want to stay in Mumbai but have to go through customs and that doesn't leave me enough time to get to Goa. Can I take a taxi somewhere else or is there anywhere I can stay cheaply at the airport? any suggestions I am very flexable. Thanks johnny

Hi I arrive in LTT (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus/Kurla) station at 5.20am and leave from BDTS (Bandra Terminus) at 3 pm. Does any1 know if it is straightforward to travel from Lokmanya Tilak to Bandra ?

I'm spending approximately 2 days in early January in Mumbai and wanted to know what I should do/see during that limited amount of time? I am coming in from a tour in Northern India and have not been to fabulous Mumbai before! My arrival/departure times are as follows:

Wed Arrive in Mumbai Int Airport at 6.55pm
Thurs- Whole day in Mumbai
Friday - Whole day in Mumbai
Saturday - Depart Mumbai at 12.30am

Hi,I'm travelling to Mumbai during this September for a week and looking for decent Budget hotels.Online Hotels are unexpectedly damn expensive.Is there any ways that I could find hotels after I reach Mimbai during my trip?or advance booking is needed.What if I made online booking and found a room with Bedbugs like some traveller posted the pictures..

Hi I'll be staying four days in Mumbai, and is looking for some company. I'm 29, norwegian tourist - on my way home from Bangalore. Anything of interest - just want to hang out and see the city :) I'll be there from July 27th - 31st.

I am looking at having a 10 day break flying in and out of Mumbai. Can you tell me what is nearby that is worth seeing and doing and how far the distances are? I;d like to see Kerala area, is this do-able in this time scale? If so can you provide the rough prices of beach accom and over night trains?

We are arriving to Mumbai central from Goa.. and would like to stay in Mumbai for one night.. as we are large indian family we need 4 rooms...can any one suggest budget class hotel .. for only one night.. as we have to fly next morning to Udaipur...we will be flying from Santa cruz.. any where near santa cruz or just little far.. good budget class hotel please

Hi there you guys, I visited Bombay (as it was called then) in 1996, and had a fantastic few days. I didn't have enough time to spend in the City and vowed to return.
I really do love the place, the City, the food, the culture and above all the people. I now want to return to my favourite place and understand more of Mumbai.
This time I can spend more time, bring my camera and take some photographs of the City and its fascinating friendly people.
I would love to take photographs of real Mumbai people, doing their own thing, to make a photographic record of 10 days in Mumbai.
I, like everyone was appalled to see the events unfold of the terrorist attack, just a few months ago.
I would love to record what real Mumbai and its people are all about. The happy, smiling faces of the people that make up this fabulous City.
Firstly where is the best place to base myself? Secondly how bad is the weather in May? thirdly do you think this can be done? and does anyone know who I can get in touch with to make my trip more successful.
