Posted: Sun October 28, 2007 12:36 AM UTC
Hi there

I'll be spending anywhere from 2 weeks to a month in Sae Caetano do Sul from December to January and am looking for some cheap, decent accommodation. I can't find any info on hostels or short term apartment rentals or even renting a room somewhere (in the area). Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd be really grateful!

cheers

São Paulo Accommodation
Posted: Tue August 14, 2007 09:27 AM UTC
Hi,

My girlfriend and I will be arriving from Europe in Sao Paulo at the start of November. We will be staying there for a few days and then onto to Rio.

We will be pretty jetlagged so I was hoping to stay in a reasonable hotel to recover. Can anyone recommend a decent hotel/motel to stay in a nice area of Sao Paulo?

Thanks,

Posted: Sun July 22, 2007 04:18 PM UTC
Hi There. I have some Miles& More miles that a I have to spend before september 30th. Swiss air tells me that I can spend my miles going from santiago to Sao Paulo. The problem is that I would be going alone...and from what i´ve heard , the city is more like a business center than a plcae for a woman tourist to go alone.
¿ is there a place near Sao Paulo where I could go for a short vacation, maily to rest?...I thought may be I could take the flight to Sao Paulo and then go to a place nearby.

São Paulo Flights out of Brazil
Posted: Thu July 5, 2007 06:14 PM UTC
Please help!
My wife and I (from Edmonton, Canada) are at the end of a 10 month trip around the world. Instead of buying Round the World tickets, we have been buying the tickets ourselves. It has worked out great until now! My wife and I are going to Rio on July 13th. We are planning on staying until the 19th or so (I know - not even close to long enough!). We want to fly from Rio/Sao Paulo to Houston to visit my sister and do not have any tickets booked yet. I have been searching multiple sites on the net and the cheapest rate I have found is about $1300US (more expensive than flying to New Zealand from Canada!). Do I have any chance of going to Rio/Sao Paulo and getting a seat sale to anywhere in the States? Once in the States, it is not that hard to find a cheap flight to Houston, so I just need to get to the States - Miami, LA, New York, etc.

Any other ideas people have?

Thank you!

São Paulo Sao Paulo domestic connection/transfer times (GRU and CGH)
Posted: Mon April 16, 2007 09:50 AM UTC
Hello,

I'll be flying domestic within Brazil, and am wondering if these connection times are possible. I'll be by myself with one carry-on bag only, and all flights will be on GOL.

Monday, April 30
Arrive CGH from GIG, 11:10AM
Depart CGH for CGR (Campo Grande), 11:45AM
(35 minutes!)

Friday, May 4
Arrive GRU from CGR, 9:30AM
Depart GRU for MAO (Manaos), 10:35AM
(65 minutes seems reasonable??)

Many thanks, in advance. Everyone's help is appreciated.

São Paulo Travel from Sao Paulo

I need to get from Sao Paulo to Panama, and then from Panama all the way to Mexico through Central America. Please give me any advice regarding the best/cheapest mode of transport(Planes/trains/busses/etc.) between those countries. It does not have to be the quickest way to travel, but certainly the cheapest.

São Paulo Anyone visiting SP in June
Posted: Sun April 1, 2007 02:54 PM UTC
Hello,

Is anyone going to be in Sao Paulo from 24th June to the 14th July?

I will be staying within Jardim Paulista area. It is my first time to Sao Paulo. I am female and 24 years old and travelling by myself. From reading various safety tips, it seems SP is more dangerous than Rio de Janeiro.

I am really looking forward to my trip, but maybe it would be a good idea if i made friends with anyone who is also visiting the city or lives there locally.

Thanks for reading my post :)
