Hi All,
I will be returning to Bangalore after a long stay away. I am a NRI. I am planning on traveling around Karnataka. I want to go to Dandeli, Bhardra Tiger Reserve and Galibore fishing Camp, all with Jungle Resorts and Lodges.
Unfortunately I will be going for this trip alone, most probably ( I have asked a few family members , so far no response).I am looking for easy going fun companions who would like to join me for an all expenses paid trip.
The start and end point will be Bangalore, for both trips. The dates are from the 31st Aug 09 to 5th Sept 09( Dandeli and Bhadra). And the other fishing trip will be from 12th to 14th Sept 09( Galibore). I am thinking of a group of Four people, so I am looking for at least 3 ppl.
So this Invite in open to any one who will be Bangalore or Residents, speaks good English,Non Smokers, either gender. Please look up my profile for further Info on Me.
The traveling will by a private vehicle with a driver ( Scorpio or Similar).
No buses no waits direct to camps.

My mate and I have been 'let off the leash' by our our wives and we're on an impromptu Indian adventure with the aim to see an Indian premier League match.
Having scoured trip adviser until my eyes have bled, can anyone local recommend a decent (as in clean, friendly hotel that is reasonably priced) in Bangalore?
Where would you sit in the stadium to get the best 'rush' when watching the matches - a safe but wild atmosphere would be nice.
Unfortunately...my friend and I have only 3 days in Bangalore before catching the train towards Hampi (in my youth, I used to work for British Rail and am fully conversant with just how GOOD Indian Rail is...biggest rail employer in the world...so got that covered)
What would you do to experience the best of Bangalore in 3 days?
Where's the best place to eat...that our non Karnatakan stomachs can handle.
Where should we NOT go...
Pretty excited...since this is my first 'boys' adventure in a decade..
Does anybody know what are the possible means of transportation from Goa to Badami?
We want to travel by day, preferrably leave Goa at noon and reach Badami in the evening.
Thanks!!
Ilan
I'm in Mangalore whole of Feb 2009, this last weekend tried Diesel Cafe, ambience was fair enough, but music was bad including the speakers and tried steak and italian, seems to have a kerala cook, all tasted like stew....
I'm looking at a good pub/bar which plays good retro/coutry music and serves authentic food of any cuisine. Offcourse air-conditioned, guess you know what i mean, its humid & sticky climate out here in Mangalore.
1 value for money pubs in bangalore. not high end places but places where u can have reasonably good food good ambience for friends to ciollect and have a good time.
especially around seshadri road and surrounding 4 kms
2 good places to eat food which will be open quite late into the night.
Hi, I shall be in Bangalore from 10th-18th January 2009 for my 1st visit.
I am looking at options to move and work here- I am an experienced International recruitment Director.
Are there any VT meets planned for that week? I would love to meet up with people living in Bangalore for their advice and opinions.
Expedia reccommends The Bangalore Gate hotel as a good value centrally located hotel- any comments on this hotel? has anyone stayed there before?
How easy is it to travel to Mysore or to Goa, how long and what method is best?

I'm going to travel south from Mysore to Kerala, and visit any reserve or National Park on the way. I'd like to see elephants, crocodiles, beautiful landscapes, etc...
Which Park should I choose: Mudumalai, Nagarhole, Bandipur, Wayanad, Periyar or maybe Silent Valley? Where can I find wild nature and decent, inexpensive accomodsation.
Hi, an Indian friend told us some stories about the campus of the Infosys IT company in Bangalore. According to his stories and what I read it must be a truly interesting place. I read that the company area is generally not open to the public, but it is possible to take guided tours on special occasions ?
