Hi,

I am travelling with my wife and 2 yr old kid for 3 days to Singapore. Planning to stay at the Beach hotel as it seems more economical. Can you share your reviews about the hotel, is it good for a family, location etc. We will be out sight seeing most of the day.

Anyone know the contact number of bigger cab like the London cab?? Coz we are 4 of us traveling with 4 sets of diving gear. I dun think normal cab can fit us in.

Is there any place tat i can park for 6 days near changi airport. Parking at the airport is expensive. Can i park at HBD apartments in Pasir Ris??

i'm travelling to singapore on the 27th with my girl cousin to experience the great singapore summer sale. we are staying at carlton hotel city hall area. we are both in our early 30's. i have a few questions:
which area has the better shopping, marina or orchard?
what's the best way to go to orchard from our hotel? can we possibly walk?
are there money exchange near our hotel?

I want to do something else besides shopping. I'm interested in going to Pulau Ubin. I heard it's quite easy to get to the place. but then I got confused reading about having to apply if u want to visit Chek Jawa.

can someone plz tell me what I am suppose to do? And are there tour guides? How much do they charge? and what about toilets, food and other facilities?

Hi, my partner and I and our 7 month old baby will be visiting Singapore soon.
Are the things I have planned suitable to take a baby along?
* Sentosa Island
* Zoo / Night Safari / Birdpark
* Singapore Flyer
* Clarke Quay & River Cruise
* Shopping!!

Also, should I taxi everywhere or will it be ok to take baby onto MRT? (Don't really want to take any buses though)
Can i take a stoller onto the train / into train station?

Any other itinerary suggestions or hints?

I will be in Singapore shortly and wish to bring back to Australia a digital satellite receiver to go with my dish here. The current one I am using is spoilt and it is very expensive in Australia. Where can I buy a cheap and good one in Singapore ? Can I find one in Sim Lim square and if so, can someone suggest which store.

my fiance & i will have our honeymoon in singapore & we started looking online for a nice with great location but inexpensive hotel. our budget is around SGD 200.00/night and we come accross the follwoing hotels: bayview, peninsula excelsior, golden landmark, furama hotel. please advise me which hotel among the 5 mentioned will be ideal in terms of location, service & clean rooms. it would be of help to us if you can rank them. if you have a better hotel in mind which is not mentioned, it will definitely be great!

We are visiting singapore on 29th of this months and are two families(6).
It would be great if we can get an accomodation in a flat with Kitchen Facilities. I mean a two room house with a small kitchen for 4 days.
Idealy we would love to stay near Little India.
Also Please suggest our trip to sentosa we want to cover Cable Car, Dolphin show, Songs of the sea .Any Package to cover these.

We are going to Singapore tomorrow. We are wondering if we should take train from airport to hotel (Fragrance Rose , Balestier road) or should we take taxi from airport. Could you advise us. There are 4 of us with light baggage. Is there a taxi stand in Novana MRT station.

We will be staying in KL for 3 days (husband, self and kid) and then I plan to make a short 3 day trip to Singapore and back while my hubby is in KL on business.

1. I plan to take a day bus to Sing. since I beleive this is faster (Transtar / Aeroline). Is it safe for a woman and kid to travel alone and how long would it take. Or would you suggest flying? I am looking to balance budget with safety and ease of travelling.

2. I plan to stay in NSS, Bugis. Please suggest which buses would arrive closest to this hotel. Also, are there any other decent hotels in a central location at the same rate as NSS.

3. Since I have been to Sing. two years back, I would like to see the newer attractions. Apart from Vivocity, lights show at Sentosa what else can I go to? Is the Sing. flyer / marina bay area open yet?

We are arriving Singapore by bus at around 2 or 3 am. The bus station is at Bugis area. How can we go to the Sentosa island? Is taxi the only means? If yes, how much will it cost? Thanks a lot!

Hi there, my friends and I are going to MY and SG next week. We will be arriving SG by bus from MY early in the morning. Then, we will be staying in SG for 1 night. Can anyone suggest an itinerary for this short trip?

On day 1, we have no plans yet to do in the morning but in the evening, we would like to go to the night safari.
On day 2, our plan is to go to Sentosa. My friend told me that we need a whole day to spend in Sentosa so maybe we'll leave our luggages first at the hotel as we don't want to carry them around. Then just get them back at the end of the day (after Songs of the Sea show) and then go to the airport to catch our late evening flight.

Also, any suggestion for a good hotel where we can stay? Maybe around USD100-150 per night (?) Or does it have to be in Sentosa island so that we won't be rushing to the airport?
