Gelateria "Crema e Cioccolato". Posted: Fri October 16, 2009 05:46 PM UTC
Some time ago I found a good place for a ice cream. It is located in via San Sebastiano. Its name should be Cream e Cioccolato, or something like that. I'd like to know the right name and address of this gelateria.
I've already checked on "Pagine Gialle" and googled a lot.

Delicious sweet bread from Forno a Vapore bakery in Lucca Posted: Thu July 9, 2009 12:36 AM UTC
We had the most delicious little sweet bread loaves from the Forno a Vapore bakery on Via Santa Lucia near San Michele in Foro. They contained pine nuts and chocolate chips. Does anyone know what they're called? I'd love to get a recipe for them, but just knowing the name would be a wonderful start. Thanks!

Gelateria in Lucca. Posted: Wed July 8, 2009 02:19 PM UTC
I've been some times in a ice cream parlour in Lucca. It is located in via S. Sebastiano. I don't remember the name unfortunately. It's the only gelateria there. I need its name to write a tip about that place.
Anyone knows it? Its name should begin with "crema e..." or a similar thing.
Thanks.

piazza anfiteatro lucca Posted: Wed May 27, 2009 06:59 AM UTC
we are looking at staying at a place overlooking piazza anfiteatro. It looks fantastic, but not sure how noisy it gets here at night. We can handle background noise, but just not loud music or partying into the late hours(makes me want to join!). I a mhoping you can give me a bit more of a clue on the piazza, as the accommodation looks great.
Thanks

b&b in lucca Posted: Mon May 25, 2009 08:40 AM UTC
We are a married couple, looking to spend a week in lucca, early september. Can anyone help with a recommendatin for a B&B.? We are after something around 80 Euro, and need a bit of space as we are spending a week there, so would like an outdoor area, or decent balcony to relax. Do you think one week is good for Lucca?
Thank you in advance

Can anybody help us in finding house, villa, farm or casle for my family. We want to visit the Toscany region for about one week in the end of june. If there is a pool it will be plended, but not a must have. We whant to hire cars so we can move around. Therefore the house don´t need to be in any city. If it is in driving distanse from the see, it would be fine. Regards GunnarG from Norway.

To Lucca from Milan MXP Airport Posted: Thu December 20, 2007 03:09 PM UTC
Hello, I am traveling to Italy (arrving Jan 19 @11am) and am trying to figure out the easiest way to get from Milan to Lucca without a whole lot of headache. Does anyone know whether there is a bus service either from the airport direct to Lucca station or from Milan Centrale station to Lucca? It would be great to avoid going an hour or so beyond to Florence than having to come back.
It is possible to rent a car however the rental agencies in Lucca are closed at noon on Saturday which will require rental return on Monday and I will not arrive in time.
Any advice would be great. Thank you for your help.

Lucca to Viterbo Posted: Sun September 30, 2007 03:17 AM UTC
Hi
We are staying in Lucca for 4 days at the end of January 08 and then travelling to Viterbo to stay for 7 days (accommodation all prebooked). Can you please advise the best way of getting to Viterbo. From checking trains etc it looks as though we might have to hire a car - I'd prefer to do that later when we are in Viterbo if possible. Public transport is our preferred way of getting there.
Thanks heaps, ciao bertoli

Train Travel Time Posted: Thu September 13, 2007 05:12 PM UTC
Hi.
I will be visiting Italy in October of 2008. I will be staying at a villa in Lucca but would love to go to Austria. I'm not sure that I want to spend days there. Does anyone know how long it takes by train to get from Lucca to Salzburg? And, would making this a day trip be possible?
Thanks

walking/cycling from pisa to lucca-- or vice versa? Posted: Mon August 20, 2007 07:25 AM UTC
Hi everyone, my wife and I are trying to decide whether to stay in Pisa or Lucca for two nights. I would like to stay in one and visit the other on Saturday. Since we observe the Sabbath on Saturday (so will not use money or transport from sundown Friday night to sundown Saturday night), I wondered if its a good idea to walk or bicycle from one city to the other. Is this crazy? I heard it can take 5 hours to walk from Pisa to Lucca, which is doable if we pack a lunch, then return to Pisa by bus after sundown. I'd prefer to stay overnight in Lucca (walk to Pisa will be downhill I think) for the atmosphere and breeze by the touristy attractions in Pisa (which we won't be able to pay to enter anyhow). But maybe its better to stay in Pisa and walk to Lucca, where a money-free afternoon is nicer. Another consideration: after two nights in Pisa or Lucca we are heading to Cinque Terre on Sunday morning, so train or bus connections may be more convenient from one place over another. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you!

Tarveling to Lucca in february Posted: Tue August 14, 2007 07:21 PM UTC
How is the weather in February in Tuscany. I will be attending a meeting at Il Ciocco in Lucca and I will be traveling with my 11 year old son. Is there much for him to do? Is there any skiing? How accessible is it to get to Pisa and Florence fromIl Ciocco?
Thank You
