i wanted to ask whether a trip to the Isole Borromee is accesible to a pushcart (a baby cart).
what is actually in those Isole Borromee - can we just stroll and wander around streets - without entering the palaces and the gardens?
or the only thing you can do on those Isoles is to enter the palaces and the gardens?

What is the best mode of transportation between these two towns?

Are there any rules or regulations, regarding the use of an inflatable boat and small out board motor on lake maggorie. Could I use it to visit villages and some of the islands, we want to reduce our global footprint by using the car as little as poosible.

Can anyone tell me if they have stayed in Hotel Villa Azaela in Baveno and what the area is like and any good restaurants that could be recomended

We want to do some short (not heavy, we are starters!) mountainbike-routes in the neighbourhood of Cannobio/ Locarno (maximum of 40 kilometers). Does anybody know one? Please let me know how to find them (signs) or send me a roadmap/discription from the tour.

The same for a walkingtour; we like to do a walking tour to a mountainlake (ice-lake) or on highr mountains to the top. Please let us know if you have tips.

Where going to Lago maggiore in 3 weeks and want to stay at a camping next to the lake. We take our mountainbikes with us and also want to do some walking tours through the mountains. Now we still don't know which campingsite ro stay on.

Hi,
I am going on my honeymoon flying into Venice and then onto Lake Maggiore, Cannero Riveria. Anyway,we usually always hire a car but would like a break from this if possible and see some of the country side by train (and also being on honeymoon, we could do without the falling outs that come with the territory of driving and map reading in a strange country. I have tried to work out the trains and then buses and it looks simple but thought I'd ask if anyone has actually attempted this journey by public transport. We are flying back out of Bergamo Airport. If anyone has any suggestions of an easier destination to follow Venice which may be easier, feel free to add. Would have liked Bellagio but looks a nightmare to get to by train.
