Im flying into Verona Brescia in the middle of june, on my own, and need to get to Malcesine, I hear its possible to catch a train from the aiport to verona and catch a bus outside the train station to Malcesine, is this right? I can't find any useful and clear info on the net anywhere.

I have never been before and have no idea of my around, any help much appreciated.

We are going to be staying in Manerba at the end of May. How do we get from Manerba to Malcesine by public transport, and is it worth hiring a car? Is it true the roads round the lake get busy?

Hi, me and my wife are travelling to Malcesine (lake Garda) in early June and will be arriving by train (from Venice) at Verona Porta Nuova train station. We were wondering whether to get a hire car for the week, or just get a taxi / bus to the resort (although I've read that the bus takes a long time). We don't want to get a hire car if it is then best to travel around the lake and see the area by boat. I have heard that travelling by road around the lake can be very busy and I don't want to get a car for a week and then end up leaving it unused all week.
Dose anyone know how much a taxi is likely to be? And should I get a hire car or not?

I was just wondering whether anyone could give me any recommendations for accommodation in Malcesine. I will be travelling with a 1 year old in October. I would like a hotel in Malcesine if possible.

Hi, I'm travelling to malcesine in may and we only land at 21:15. I am travelling with my husband and two children, one 5 year old and an 18 month old. Can anyone give me advice how i can get to malcesine as the bus doesn't seen to run so late. i really don't want to spend 260 euro's on a taxi. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Happy to use combination of public transport and/or ferries.

Hello, I am intending to travel to malcesine in July with a group of 6 people and was wondering how we would get from Verona airport to Malcesine via bus or coach. Is there a regular service and does anyone know how much the journey would cost per person? I visited Malcesine as part of a tour operated holiday last summer and I know the transfer time is around 2 hours so it is too far for us to get taxis. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I have been left in charge of organisation! Many thanks

tips for transfer from milan-malpensa airport to malcesine please

im planning to travel independently to malcesine at the end of May.As I wont be traveling with a tour firm are there travel agencies in malcesine that organise day trips to venice ect. Ive looked at taking the train from pesheria (sp) but didnt realise the bus from malcesine to pesh.. takes around an hr or so. Or is there a bus that I can take direct from malcesine to venice and back as this would be alot easier than the train.

Where can I get bus/ferry information to travel from Verona to Malcesine on Lake Garda. How long dies it take to get from Verona train station to Malcesine? Does anyone know how long the ferry rides are that travel along the lake?

Need some help and advice please ! Thinking of travelling to Malcesine in February with my wife and daughter (aged 9). We have been to Malcesine in the summer for the day when staying in Riva but wanted to come back in the winter months for a few days.

What is the snow like on Monte Baldo then ? Is there enough to occupy us at that time of year or is everything closed ?!
