How far is it by from the Can Tho in the Mekong Delta to Rach Gia?

Is Chau Doc closer to Rach Gia? (Thinking of taking a boat from there to Phu Quoc)

What is the best way to meander through the Mekong Delta? Can I do this by a combination of bike and boat? So many tours. They all sound alike. Does anyone have a recommendation? Or, can I find a spot like Can Tho and bike on day trips from there or take a boat ride to the floating markets? I'll be traveling with my 10-year old daughter so won't be doing long distance bike riding without support.

I'm going to Vietnam in a few months, and i would love to visit the Mekong. There are so many tours available over the internet though, that i'm at a loos to know exactly what it involves. Is it necessary to book before hand, or is it easy to do it over there?
I particularly want to cruise the mekong, but would prefer a non-motorized boat. Any suggestions? what should i be looking for?
