HELP! Need advice about visiting castles near Piacenza and Parma!!!

Hi Everyone,

I saw a photo of a castle near Piacenza and my jaw dropped to the floor... incredibly beautiful!

I would like to ask ITALY31 some advice.

We will be driving from Padova (Padua) to Camogli (near Genoa) in mid-September.

We will leave EARLY morning from Padova (around 7h).

IF WE CAN ONLY STOP AT ONE CASTLE NEAR PARMA OR PIACENZA, WHERE SHOULD WE STOP?

I'm not sure about driving times. I just don't want to arrive at Camogli when it is too late at night.

Probably when we do our stop, we will have to eat something, get gas... but it would be a shame not to tour atleast one gorgeous castle.

Hi,

I was in Italy twice but have never been in Piacenza. I need help concerning accommodation there.

Are there any people there who would like to be my host? In return, I could invite them to Moscow and give accommodation, for example.
