I am arranging a group tour for 21 people march 2008, we arrive in Bologna and need to reach Rimini. I know about the shuttle bus from Bologna Airport to the Station but I am starting to worry about what to do next. Should I pre-book seats hoping our flight is not delayed at all? Also we travel back on a Sunday, do trains run?

We six people are travelling from Milan to Hotel Grune Perle, Via Taranto 27, Rimini 47900 on 10th September/2007 to participate in World Masters Athletic Championship at Riccione. What are the cheapest modes of transport available from Milan Airport to Rimini ? Kindly help. If train connections are available please let us know the deatils regarding train no. and timinings.

we plan to come to riccione 6 sept 2007 and wondered if there are longer coach trips to Venice and Rome ? we only have a week but if possible would like to take in these places albeit fleeting.thanks to anyone with relevant info.

Hi, I was wondering about the crowd in rimini during summer time? I am traveling from the netherlands, but if it's full of dutch people over there i wouldn't really want to go :). The idea is to be able to mingle with different people, otherwise i would stay rght here in the netherlands.

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about renting a unit in rimini for the whole summer???? We will be there for about three months and are working so would like to try and find a place that has a little kitchen and bathroom. We arent fussy but just want to be able to cook for ourselves. ANY IDEAS?? Have looked around but cant seem to find anywhere that isnt a hotel (way too pricey)

We have been offered cheap accomodation with our job but really really would like a kitchen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. I am a girl from Iceland going to Rimini for 5 days in July with some friends. I found this hotel called Telstar at Via Viareggio on the internet and booked it. Please as I have not seen any comment on it can you tell me if it is ok place to stay. Also about its location in the city. Is it close to some shops or some public transportation. I am worrying about how to get around once I am there. What is the best way of transport and is it all over the city. Please let us know anything you can tell about this :)

I'm looking into going on holiday to Rimini in August with my boyfriend, we wanted to move away from the whole rowdy loutish resorts like Benidorm/Magaluf etc ... we've had Rimini recommended, although one person that has visited has said it's a bit like the blackpool / benidorm of Italy?

I don't know who to listen to as people have different experiences of places, just wanted a bit more insight into what to expect .. and if this isn't the place for me, any suggestions??

I am going to visit Rimini on the begining of October. I have booked in Hotel Apis. Can anyone comment on the hotel? Is public transportation to the city center convenient?

My friends and I are planning to go to Rimini on June 7th. We will be coming from Milan. What is the best way to get there? Is there a train? If so how long would it take? Any infromation would be helpful. Thanks.

My boyfriend and I are planning to visit Rimini as my brother is working there for the summer. We're planning to spend a few days there then maybe spend some time in some other resorts/cities. How easy is it to travel around and where would you recommend visiting? Will we struggle to find accommodation anywhere in late July/August?

Any hints and tips greatly appreciated as I have never visited Italy before.
