I will travel to Rimini with my boyfriend in september and we booked an appartment in rimini sud-miramare. (Selva apparment) I would like to ask that how can I go to rimini city center because there is a 5 km distance between our appartment and rimini's center. Are there buses? I am interested too that in the neighbourhood in miramare are there good shops or discos? Because rimini's center is far to go there clubbing. Please if you have any other further informations than write it to me.

Hello there,
Can anyone suggest a site where I can research buses from La Spezia to Rimini?
I am looking at the train (Trenitalia) and it seems to take a long time, about
5 hours. I am wondering if a bus would be faster.
Thank you!

hello,
We wish to travel by train(s) from Rimini to Vieste in early october and as quickly as possible. We'd rather not go all the way to Foggia and wonder if San Severo would be an option even if we had to travel on by coach. Our plane gets in quite early on oct5th. Our return leaves around mid day on the 16th so we'll need a train back up to Rimini on the 15th. Having said that a coach from SS is an option, I know there is a train that runs to Peschici and that would do nicely too.
Hoping you can advise, Roger and Rosie

Hi,
We need to travel from Rimini to Milan in the next couple of days. Im stuck finding out there are many types of trains to take...I thought there was only Europe Rail which gave many options...but I didnt see them in the train station we came in from Ancona to Rimini. What's the best way by train to get to Milan...Europe Rail or other...Europe Rail also does not allow access to schedules and costs within 2 days of travel...what's up with that??
Thanks for the help,
M.

Hi
My husband and I are from South Africa. We want to spend two nights in Rimini -31 Dec 2008 and 1 January 2009. Can you recommend a nice place to stay? About 100 euro per night. Are there any B&B or agriturismos in Rimini? What are the main tourist attractions? Are there any historic old places in Rimini? Are there some Latin dance clubs? How do the people from Rimini celebrate new years eve?
Thank you

Hello fellow travelers:
We usually plan our trips ahead of time and post after we have an idea of the city we are visiting. This time, due to health reasons, we havenīt been able to search at all, and we have a lot of questions! S O S
We are traveling to Forli on Sept 12th. Javi has a ournament on the 13th and 14th and then we stay until Mon 22nd. We want to do tourims from Monday 15th to the 22nd. After reading some questions posted on this page, we have an idea of things to do those days.
But here is where we neeed help:
1. We need a cheap/decent hostel in Rimini from the 12th-15th
2. Does Ryan air have transportation to Bolognia? (We know there is to Rimini)
3. Would be worth staying at Balonia the days we want to do tourims instead of Rimini? We are not drinkers and we are from Barcelona, so we have beach all over. In case the aswer is yes:
4 cheap/decent hostel in Bolongnia
5 Is there some sort of train/bus discount to travel by train to
Ravena, Ferrara, Madena, etc?
6 Discount for disabled? (86% disability) on buses/trains/ castles, etc
Thanks a lot. I know more questions will come up, but these are the main ones
Gracias to all!

We are going to spend 2 weeks in Rimini this September. We'd like to visit some nearby towns:
Ravenna
Ferrara
Cesena, Forli
Pesaro, Ancona.
1. Is it better to get there by train or by bus?
2. Where is the bus station located in Ferrara? How to get its schedule?
3. Is it possible to make a one-day trip Rimini-Ferrara-Rimini, or it is better to stay in F. for one night?
Were are full of energy and interest to this part of Italy!
Thank you in advance.

I have been to Rimini a few times - but every time ends up being the same.
Party,party,party.
Can any one suggest some really cool stuff to do, during the day.
I ride my bike most days around (which I love) but I really want to do something different (hence the question about football games in my previous post).
SOooooooo any ideas- please pass them on- the more the better- and free would be good but I don't mind paying for something that I will enjoy.
(Ps - i dont like mini golf)
Thanks
Lil

I am arranging a group tour for 21 people march 2008, we arrive in Bologna and need to reach Rimini. I know about the shuttle bus from Bologna Airport to the Station but I am starting to worry about what to do next. Should I pre-book seats hoping our flight is not delayed at all? Also we travel back on a Sunday, do trains run?
