Actually im from penang would like to visit hadyai and stay over there for 3days 2 nights. actually i required some useful information from members who is very familiar with hatyai. im planning to visit hatyai in the month of november midlle. Geniune body massage for men at reasonable cost, Tiger or naked show, good disco such as soho in penang at reasonable price, nice chinese just like bukit tambun in penang, Good reasonable pricing hotel around rm 60-80 in down town, please advice me on this. I would advise caution in going to Hat Yai for Chinese New Year. There is still a lot of unrest going on down there, although we'll see what happens post-Ramadan to see whether the curfews will remain lifted and peace returns.

Like Tina-Perth say above will i have any problem going on hari raya it self is there, anything that i should do or not to do cause i going with my family. How is the situation there right now. Is there any problem at songkhla.

I am travelling to Hat Yai by jeep and would be staying for 2 nights there. After that I intend to take a shared van to Penang since my rented vehicle cannot be driven across the border.

we understand there are some hotels even provided tons of waters for this festival whereby they placed containers of water for people to scoop to "splash" outside their hotel premise.

I am looking for latest pictures from the streets of Hat yai but i can't find many. Those i can find there is no many people on the streets.
So could someone who is living or was in Hat Yai not long ago tell me how is there now?

We arriave the airport 08.30 and have to be in Pak Bara 10.30.
If we order a van/car/cab waiting for us - we can make it. Do anyone have a contact or travelagency I can call or send a mail to in forhand?

1. Can I get shared van directly from HatYai Airport to Penang? What is the cost?
2. If not, any bus service from HatYai Airport to HatYai town area?
3. If not, what is the price taking tuk-tuk from the airport to town area?
4. Where can I get shared van from HatYai town area to Penang? What is the price? I took van from Penang to Hat Yai before and it cost me RM23 only. Can I get similar price from Hat Yai?

Hi all. I will be going to hatyai for the 1st time the 1st week of december. my friend recommended me the sakura hotel. as i am a muslim, he told me that there is a shop selling muslim food opposite the hotel. can anyone verify this for me pls?

Next, i intend to buy some parts and accessories for my motorcycle which also available in thailand. i heard that few streets across the hotel, there a whole row of shops selling can anyone help verify this?

I travel to Hat Yai by nighttrain from Kuala Lumpur Sentral (arrival Hat Yai: October 17th about 11:00 am) and want to go to Koh Lanta the same day.

Can I travel by mini-bus or bus to Koh Lanta from Hat Yai?
When do they depart and where to buy the ticket (is it sufficing if I buy it in Hat Yai?)

Stay in Penang currently and plan as below:-
Butterworth - Hatyai (by van)
Hatyai - Songkla Airport (???)

Anyone please advise on how should i get to the airport?
If you know about the direct trasport from Butterworth to Songkla Airport, it's more added-value.

we have made plans to make way to Hatyai next month but we are stopped by our parents to make a trip there because of the news flashing on our tvs lately. for us, we are kinda quite adamant wanting to make this trip possible.

My friends and I are taking the KL-Hat Yai train, and from there we're planning to get to Phuket. I am concerned about the bus schedules from Hat Yai to Phuket because so far, the only bus schedule I got was from the website Seat61. Unfortunately, according to the site, the last bus to leave for Phuket is at 10:05, and the train is to arrive Hat Yai at 11:15.

I hope you guys can give me information if there are round-the-clock buses from Hat Yai to Phuket, and where can we find them. Thank you very much!
