| Hua Hin | BKK airport to Hua Hin Posted: Fri January 11, 2008 02:25 AM UTC
My partner and I are going to Hua Hin in early Feb 08 and was just wondering about the transport to HH from BKK airport. I have checked the internet and you can book a car a driver to send you there for about B3300 one way (cheapest so far). Would it be cheaper to just arrive at the airport and get a driver from there or to pre- book it via internet. Thanks for any advice. We're not keen on trains or buses.

| Hua Hin | Pranburi Information request. Posted: Mon October 22, 2007 09:42 PM UTC
I have read that Pranburi is a little too far out of Hua Hin to stay but we like quieter places.Have been looking at a few resorts to stay such as Golden Pine (was AS Dream), Bacchus Home, Pattawai. Can anyone tell me if it is a good destination to stay or am I better to stay closer to Hua Hin. Maybe we could rent a car to look around. I appreciate anyone thoughts and infomation and Hotel recommendations.

| Hua Hin | SNAKES Posted: Wed May 9, 2007 07:59 PM UTC
I have been reading many websites about Hua Hin and have just come across one which describes how common snakes are in the town. Is this true? According to the site there are many species and you are certain to come across some if in the town for any period of time. I am visiting in July but have a terrible phobia about snakes and as you can imagine feel upset and worried about my trip. Can anyone tell me just what the situation is with regard to this subject. I need to know the truth about how common they are.
Thanks |

| Hua Hin | Being vegan in Hua Hin Posted: Tue April 24, 2007 07:44 AM UTC
We are thinking of booking a trip to Bangkok and Hua Hin for January.
I think Hua Hin will be the right resort for us, partly because we don't want to take another flight after we leave Bangkok and partly because we like places that are fairly quiet but with a choice of restaurants etc. So, if we do decide to go to Hua Hin, will it be easy to eat as a vegan there? |
