Kanchanaburi Waterfalls in March
Posted: Sat August 27, 2005 07:01 AM UTC
Hi
I'm visiting Thailand for the very first time in March/April 2006 & hope to visit Kanchanaburi. I really wanted to see the waterfalls but having read reviews in the travel guides I'm wondering if there will be any water to fall at that time of year! Anyone been then?
If it's not too dry I'd also like a rafting trip on the river & a visit to the tiger temple - will I be able to do all this in one day or should I plan an overnight stay?
Thanks
Miesque

Can someone please tell me the best way to get from Bangkok to the Tiger Temple in Kanchanburi. How much will it cost and how long will it take. How long can I stay at the Tiger Temple. If I have to stay overnight where is the best place to stay. Also what will the weather be like in late August early September.
Thank you.

Kanchanaburi Any help would be appreciated.

Ladies and Gentlemen.

My wife and I are both travelling to Thailand for the first time in February. We have organised part of our itinery. We have a few days spare. In view of the tragedy of yesterday, we are rethinking our last few days.
We would both like to visit Kanchanaburi. We both play golf, and have found some interesting courses in the area. Where to stay? Are there any reasonable hotels in the town? Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

Kanchanaburi KANCHANABURI and River Kwai
Posted: Mon October 27, 2003 12:32 PM UTC
Hi,
I've asked a few questions around Thailand and Cambodia and everyone has been very helpful. I have one more question. My husband and I are Canadians going to Thailand in December. We are interested in heading to Kanchanburi for a few days from Bangkok. Does anyone have suggestions for an itinerary and places to stay. What is the best way to get around the area? Can transport be arranged by guesthouses/hotels? Is the best way to see sights to go on day tours? Thanks in advance for your advice.
