Nonthaburi Travel Forum

Hi. I'll be coming to Nonthaburi in May/June to do the Thai Massage course at the Wat Po Thai Massage school (don't want to spend three weeks in Bangkok!!) I'll be there for three to four weeks. Could anyone suggest somewhere to stay? Hotel/guest house/serviced apartments - don't mind which but must be reasonable standard. have looked on the net but all that comes up is the Thai House and PSP serviced apartments. There must be more!! Would quite like to be near the river but pretty flexible as long as the river is easy walking distance so I can use the river taxi. Also has anyone done the course at the Nonthaburi branch of the Wat po Massage school and what was it like? Many thanks

I am not only a passionate Thailand visitor, but also like beer a lot (the best way to survive in the hot and humid climate of Thailand).

While Thai makes are not really among my favourite ones, I am still always interested in learning about how beer is made in every country. I know that there is a Singha Brewery in Pathum Thani (which I hope to visit one day), but only recently I have read that there is also a brewery (probably not Singha, though) in Nonthaburi. As we intend to spend a couple of days in this province in late August, I wonder if anyone can give me an address, or even better, tell me details about it.
