Ko Yao Noi Travel Forum

I am now considering spendig half (1 week) of our climbing/beach holiday in Railay, and the other week in Koh Yao Noi.
A few questions on the latter,
(1) are the beaches really not too nice everywhere on the island, or just the particular beach in front of the Paradise hotel, where we were planning to stay?
(2) anyone can share their rock climbing experience there? I mean choice of routes, quality compared to Railay, prices (I am hearing you have to take organized tours to the climbing areas?). Would the climbing areas good for another person to enjoy snorkelling etc? Is it easy to find a climbing partner?
(3) is scuba diving / snorkelling good? Probably not directly off the islands' coast, as I'm told it's a bit muddy and not too nice..
(4) Are there some bars, maybe not full-on discos like in AoNang but some sort of "nightlife" to keep us busy in the evenings? We are going in high season i.e. January.

I'm going to ko yao noi, and wish to know more about the mid-price to budget accomodations there. I've found some names of places like "Pasai cottage", "Amena bungalow", "Long Beach Village", "Sabai Corner" and "Ban Thakao", but not relly any information on prices or their location. So if anyone has been living on ko yao noi, or has any info at all about the places to stay on the island, I would be very happy./sara

Does anyone know what th eweather is like in November?

Also has anyone stayed at Sensi Paradise? How many nights would be ideal? we have 7 to fill.
