We would like a travel guide for a one day travel/tour for 2 or 4 people in Okinawa. We were going to go with another group who have a great guide, but they are mainly interested in military sites and we want to spend some time on those and much on other things. We may still go with our original group, but would really prefer to just pick and choose what we want to see in the 8 hours the ship is in port.

I know this can vary enormously, but I wondered if anyone might be willing to offer an esitmate for a daily budget. I'm a diabetic and will need to eat three meels daily. I'm not terribly picky and I'm an experienced traveler. I don't need five-diamond restaurants, but I don't mind having nice meals either.
Any guidelines? Thanks a million! |

I plan to go Okinawa in April and I want to spend few days on Ishigaki Island and then take a ferry to Miyako Island. However, I can' t find a website in English to provide me such information. As I know, one of the ferry company was suspended last year. Please anyone advise me! Thanks |

Hello dear knowers of Okinawa island!
I'd be very grateful if somebody out there could provide me with useful infomation regarding the usual weather late December on the Kerama Islands as we plan spending a few days there at the very end of december, likely in zamami jima. Is it possible to dive, because it seems very windy ? What's the water and air temperature like? Is there anything to do (like trekking, visiting, hiring a motorbike?) Any good ryokan to spend a couple of days on the islands? Thanks a lot in advance!! Joska |

Hi, I'm travelling to Okinawa in late December early January and since it's winter there, I'd like to know approximately how long it would take to drive from Naha to Cape Hedo. I am planning to stop at the Hiji Falls on the return trip. Is it possible to do both of these in one day? If so, do you have any other suggestions for stops on the way which would be worthwhile?

We live in a big city with plenty of nightlife and options, and we are wondering if there's some nice place for people of 25-30 years average for dancing of for a drink. If possible, not for foreigns we want to meet the locals even with our poor Japanese speaking. Thanks a lot! |
