Treviso Treviso to Vipiteno
Posted: Sun July 19, 2009 06:13 PM UTC
Hi VTers,
I need some help here as I am still not sure how I shall travel. We (4 ppl) will be landing in Treviso next December and this is our itinerery. 1 night in Treviso, visit Venice and travel up to Vipiteno as a holiday base. Our aim is to visit Christmas markets such as Vipiteno, Merano, Bolzano and maybe Innsbruck. We would like to rent a car from Treviso since we will return back there after the week is over.
Our only concern is the snow in alto adige. We will be staying in a farmouse 1200mt above sea level and altough I was assured that on a daily basis the council wipes the snow of the roads I am still worried that this might ruin the holiday. We never travelled in December and never expirienced driving in snow. Any suggestions please?

Treviso How to travel from Treviso to Venice
Posted: Tue June 23, 2009 10:02 AM UTC
Hi I will be staying in Treviso for two days. Whilst I am there I want to visit Venice for the day. I will have a rented car.

Any suggestions how I should travel? Which is the best way to get there, by car? or may be by other means of transport?

If I go by car, where should I park the car, is there a suitable parking place nearby?

I'm an active 40+ Aussie & this is my first trip abroad departing mid May. Dubai 2day stopover then London 1 week with friends. Paris on our own for 4 days - doing Moulin Rouge Show & museum tours. June 1st -10 day bus tour from Rome, Florence & Venice & then spending 3 weeks in Treviso with family. I would like some suggestion on appropriate clothing for any or all of the above.

Treviso HOTEL next to Treviso Train Station
Posted: Thu December 18, 2008 08:34 AM UTC
Hi,

I'm looking for a hotel close to the Treviso Train Station just for an overnight stay, nothing fancy but clean. This will be on arrival to Treviso and will be heading to Venice the next morning so basically looking for something convenient so we don't have to travel at night. Any suggestions?
Our plans were to travel from Treviso Airport to the Treviso Train Station by taxi hoping to find a hotel close by and then catch a train to Venice the next morning.
Many thanks in advance,
Stephanie

Treviso Treviso to Bled during daytime
Posted: Sat November 22, 2008 07:00 AM UTC
I am at the end of my wits here.
On the google map, going from Treviso to Bled looks like a breeze.
I thought I just need to take the train from Treviso to Venezie, then catch the train to Ljubljana. Then a bus to Bled.

However, multiple checks reveal that there is only night/overnight trains available from Venezia to Ljubljana.

I would like to travel during the day on 23 Jan 2009.

Any possibility that you know of that you could share with me?

Treviso Cheap but clean hotel in Venice
Posted: Thu October 30, 2008 09:11 AM UTC
I would like to find a hotel in Venice, either somewhere walking distance to Piazza San Marco or alternatively somewhere very close to the water bus that takes you to Venice.
I'm looking for something decent, most important is that its clean and offers a decent breakfast nothing fancy.

Many thanks in advance,

Stephanie.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of the local bus timetables for Treviso online? I shall be there in a couple of weeks and, in particular, I'm after information on services along Via Feltrina at the weekends.

Could you tell me something about this event? Is it a marathon or just a taste of typical dishes?

Sapete dirmi cosa sia? E' una gara con gastronomia o una festa con assaggi gastronomici vari.

Thanks for your replies.

Treviso Shops in Treviso
Posted: Sun April 13, 2008 09:31 PM UTC
I'm trying to find a shop belonging to an old friend of mine (I've misplaced him as well). The shop was owned by family of Lorenzo Pomini and was an old, very beautiful shop which sold wool blankets, sweaters etc. Has anyone any idea how I can find this shop?

Treviso Accommodation

There are five of us travelling to Treviso for a four night stay.

Is it possible that we could find an apartment to rent, or are we dependant on hotels or B&Bs? Ideally we'd like to be close enough to the train station to make getting out and about easy.

Hi
Does anyone know if it's possible to leave luggage at Treviso airport? Or somewhere nearby? We will return our hire car to the airport before going on for a quick overnight trip to Venice before flying home and do not want to take all our luggage with us to Venice. Any ideas welcome. Thanks

Treviso World Cup Wedding
Posted: Tue May 30, 2006 01:18 PM UTC
Hi there,

I am happily getting married on 8th July 2006. But I have managed to upset a large amount of the guests by getting married the day before the world cup. (which is on at 8pm on the 9th July).
We will all be flying out of Tresivo airport on the 22:15 flight. And I am wondering how I am going to get everyone to see the game?
Is there a TV in the treviso airport?
Does anyone know of a bar near the airport that will be showing the game?

Thanks very much for any help,

Darren.

Treviso Hotels In Treviso
Posted: Wed February 22, 2006 08:38 PM UTC
We're travelling to Treviso in March and want to stay somewhere convenient to the city centre and for transport between the airport and Venice as we're only there for two nights.

Found a great deal on Park Bolognese by Continental seems near city centre.

Can anyone tell me a little more about these two or recommend anything else?
