| Verona | Verona Porta Nuov to Verona Brescia (VBS) Posted: Fri November 2, 2007 03:29 AM UTC
Please help. I have been trying to find way to get from Verona Porta Nuov Railway station to Verona Brescia Airport. I am catching a Ryan Air flight back at 1505, but I saw from (http://www.aeroportobrescia.it/en/come-arrivare/aerobus.asp) that there's an aerobus that departs Verona Railway to Station Brescia Airport at 15.10. It says each departure corresponds with a connecting Ryanair flight, but both timing do not fit! Or have I interpreted wrongly?

| Verona | La Magnolia vs. R. Muropadri Posted: Sun October 28, 2007 03:05 PM UTC
hi everyone :)
may i solicit advices from anyone [local or not :)] whether we should book with La Magnolia (good reviews, cheap and available, near the station for evening arrival from padova)or with R. Muropadri(good reviews also, cheap and so far available, quite near the centre so they say,but far from the station)? Has anybody stayed in any of the two? Is La Magnolia quite far from the centre to go back to if we decide to stay late night at the centre? Is R. Muropadri more accessible? thanks so much in advance :) |

| Verona | christmas holiday in venice, padova and verona Posted: Sat October 20, 2007 10:13 AM UTC
hello vters :)
We are spending our christmas holiday from the 23rd in venice then padova (one day maybe) and verona as our last stop. May i know if one day is enough to see most of the tourist spots in verona or not? If we are planning to see also lake garda, should we opt for 2 day-stay? What is there to see during Christmas holiday (27th or 28th) there in verona? (Lake Garda and Roman Ruins still good to visit during winter?) WE are hoping to have some enlightenment before we finalize our plan and start to book immediately. Thank you very much :) |

| Verona | Verona to Riva del Garda Posted: Thu September 6, 2007 09:02 AM UTC
Hello,
How does one get from Verona to Riva Del Garda, bus, train or boat? I believe there's a bus of some sort that goes from Verona to Riva? I also believe one can take a train to the south of the lake and get a boat up to the top of the lake? As much detail as possible would be helpful. Thanks. |

| Verona | Milan - Bergamo - Verona in a day ---- possible? Posted: Mon August 6, 2007 09:15 AM UTC
Hey VT members,
I plan to make a full day trip from Milan to Bergamo and then to Verona. Do you think it is feasible? I know it's a bit too ambitious trying to cover both Bergamo and Verona in one day, but I just can't make up my mind to just choose one. My question is, if I were to travel from Milan, is there any 'combi' or ticket with 'via Bergamo' option that I can get or should I buy seperately Milan - Bergamo and Bergamo - Verona? (usually it would be more expensive...)? And I am confused with the different tarif available. I am under 26, can I get the youth / junior price? Would be grateful if someone can enlighten me on the tickets. (I will buy the ticket only when I reach Milan and I don't mind travelling on a fixed time; type of train is not so crucial) Thanks a lot! |

| Verona | Verona Opera Posted: Thu August 2, 2007 10:06 AM UTC
Hi!
Its my dad's 50th in two weeks and my mother is bringing him to Bologna from the 9th - 16th October and I wanted to send them both to the Verona Opera as he has ALWAYS wanted to go but I have been looking it up and from what I can gather the season ends on in September. Does anyone have any other Verona suggestions or even perhaps Venice?!? I would really appreciate some views or past expriences as I am finding it quite hard to know what to look for! Thanks Alison |

I hate to admit this but am having trouble figuring the fares on this site. Locating the fare for the trip on e way RT etc is easy enough but what about the multiple listing from top to bottom ? can anyone help? We would like to take a lake trip at some point. I don't see a lot of stops where in Padenghe where we will be located. We are looking at every way to get around ! The bus website is all in Italian --Unfortunately, I am not that good at translating . We are mostly interested in getting into Desenzano for connections to train etc.. Any suggestions?
Thanks so much |

| Verona | 2 tickets to see Aïda Posted: Thu July 5, 2007 05:37 PM UTC
Hello,
Due to unfortunate circumstances we had to cancel the honeymoon in Italy that was planned for 3 weeks from the 21st of July until the 12th of August. During that time the plan was to go see Aïda in the Arena in Verona, a very impressive venue, so I'm told. Because we're not going I would now like to sell these two tickets. The tickets still have to be picked up from the Arena with the email confirmation signed by me. The tickets are these: ARENA DI VERONA * - AIDA 28-07-2007 at 21.15 o' clock - Res. Code 0017778 Tickets n. 2 - row - seat - sector GRADINATA SETTORE D - 53,00 euro More information about this opera: http://www.arena.it/eng/arenaeng.urd/portal.show?c=94 It would be nice if someone here wants to buy these tickets from me, you get a good deal and I lose out on less money. Hope to hear from someone, make me a nice offer. Vincent. |

Ciao all!
My hubbie and I are going to see Muse in concert at the arena this month but have never been before. We are sitting in the ungraded seats and all we know is that the concert starts at 8.30pm. How early do you suggest we get there to get a seat? The tickets don't give any info on when the gates open etc. Many thanks P x |

| Verona | Accommodation - Verona/Garda Area Posted: Sat June 2, 2007 10:38 PM UTC
Hello!
We are a family of four and will have 2 days in the Verona/Garda area at the beginning of July. Unfortunately our dates fall on the weekend and most hotels are full. Is there a location close by from which we could easily drive to both places? We would prefer a smaller place with a view vs. a large modern hotel. Thanks for any help, Dimara |
