I am looking for a sports bar to watch the Super Bowl in Hamamatsu or the surrounding area. Any ideas or suggestions? I had to go to Nagoya last year. I would rather stay closer to home.
I will only be in Japan for 5day/4 nights. Are the discounts in the Gotembe Premium Outlet really worth the 1 day trip or are the prices considered cheap only if you are living in Japan? Thanks!
my question is how far (in Kms and by train) is Mt Fuji area from Tokyo (Asakusa)?
and from which station I should travel from?
I am travelling to Japan this mid October and I have a day off with JR Pass... so I was thinking in travelling to Fuji area at the end of my trip, if it is not so far and if I can do it in a day-trip.
Maybe sleeping somewhere in shibuya, could be possible as well.
I'm trying to find a place to stay over a night at Gotemba on 24th Dec.
the only place i know is the Kogen Resort which is fully booked.
what other accommodation are available there? I seemed to have little luck trying to find out what hotels, ryokans etc are available through internet search.
I am having an emergency trip to Fujinomiya to visit a very sick friend. I have not been there for 30 years. Are there any hotels, inns? I cannot stay with my friend as she is too ill to have guests. Thanks!
I am looking for a bus route map, time table and fare information between
JR Shin-Fuji and Fujinomiya-guchi 5th Stage.
Are there any bus routes which connect Fujinomiya-guchi 5th Stage with Kawaguchiko-guchi New 5th Stage.
Does anyone know a better Mt. Fuji area map then http://www.shizuoka-guide.com/english/travel/shizuoka/Fuji.html
Can I go by car to the 5th stations?
Is there parking space for free available?
Would I need snow wheels?
Hi,
I'm planning a trip to Japan in November. I'd really like to take my kids to Fujikyu Highland Amusement Park (in particular Thomasland). On their website, Fuji-q lists the opening hours from April 1 to Sept 30. Does that mean that the park is closed for the winter? If not, what are the winter hours? Thomasland closes earlier than the rest the park, right?
Also, what is the best way to get to the amusement park from Tokyo? The Fuji-Q website lists the bus, train & a limousine service.
Finally, does anyone have recommendations for reasonably priced accommodation near the park?

Hi, I'll be staying in Shizuoka for one night visiting a friend. I plan to be in Tokyo the following night. Was wondering if it's possible to 'do' Mount Fuji on the way from Shizuoka to Tokyo. Any advice how to go about it ? I don't want to climb it just get some good photos.
I have a frined that lives there in kihara fukoroi. I have to know the dream bar that they went in. I'd also like to know what kind of a bar is it. Thanks!
