Cycling from Albi to Cordes Sur Ciel?

Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows what a bike ride from Albi to Cordes Sur Ciel might be like. Google maps puts it at about 20km, which would be ok for a day-trip starting in the morning, but I wonder what the terrain is like?

Alternatively, what would be the least expensive way to visit Cordes Sur Ciel for the day?

Dear fellow virtual tourists:
Can anyone recommend a shortest route to Albi from San Franicsco?
Should I fly into Toulouse?
Does Toulouse's airport close to the train station?
Do I need to reserve train tickets to Albi from Toulouse?
Is the train the type you have to ride on the destinated time?
Please advise on the method to arrive Albi.
