Panglao Island Baby-friendly resort in panglao
Posted: Wed April 9, 2008 05:45 AM UTC
I will be taking my 10-month old baby, including his nanny with me to Panglao. What resort would you recommend that's baby friendly? I understand that there may be resorts who offer separate rooms for nannys, any ideas? Although its not really necessary, I can have the nanny stay with us in the room. Just want to know if there are resorts in Panglao that offer such service. Will be leaving on the 26th of April. Thanks!

Panglao Island please help decide which resort in panglao island
Posted: Tue March 18, 2008 06:28 AM UTC
im torn between these resorts.
bohol beach club, amorela resort, alona palm and pyramid.
bohol beach club has package from island accomodation that cost 284USD for 4D/3N with sea and land tour already. see at http://www.islandsaccommodations.com/hotels-resorts/bohol/boholbeachclub/index.htm#pack2

then on other resorts no package. but i think we can get and outsider tour guide for cheaper cost.

my question is.. where do u think we should stay nalang.. i dont see kasi pictures more sa bohol beach club lalo na the rooms they have.

please help..

Posted: Thu February 21, 2008 06:27 AM UTC
Hi, i'm planning to go to bohol this summer with my family. Bohol Bee farm will sure appeal to my father as he is very interested in agriculture stuff and i also think its a nice place to stay. But i was wondering if there is a beach area where we can swim at bohol bee farm. i haven't read anything regarding the beach at the farm. Is it safe to swim there even at night? Is it also as white as the beaches from other panglao beaches? thanks!

Panglao Island any cheap overnight stay in dumaluan?
Posted: Tue January 15, 2008 06:11 AM UTC
Hi All!!! I find this forum very helpful. I am planning to have an island tour on my first day in Bohol and I'm looking for a cheap accommodation for 1 night in Dumaluan. I can't find one on the net. Is it ok if I just look for a place in Dumaluan after my island tour? Or should I book as early as possible? I found Citadel Alona to be the cheapest but it's in Alona. Is it too far from Dumaluan? Thanks for all your help :)

Panglao Island different beach in panglao island
Posted: Sun December 16, 2007 09:14 AM UTC
what are the different beach in bohol? (kindly specify for me if it's public beach of private beach, thank you =) ) all i know is the alone beach.

Dumaluan beach - is this public or private beach? any feedback on this place?
Panglao island nature resort - is this public or private beach? any feedback
on this place?
Alona Beach - for February 1st-2nd week, is the beach crowded?

I'm planning to go around next February 1st or 2nd week. Is the weather okay or it's too cold for me to hang around the beach. My target is to stay in a resort that has a private beach (public beach is okay, but I hope it won't be that crowded) and a good place to relax. I don't care if the resort has no party bars.

Thanks a lot for the replies, guys. Just read on some travel agencies' sites that there's also a tennis court at Alona Kew. Has anyone seen it there? I guess Alona Kew is closer to Alona Palm than Bohol Divers Resort?

Best regards!!!

Panglao Island Bohol Divers Resort

Hello,

I found on the net that there's a tennis court at Bohol Divers Resort. Is this true? And can non-residents use it? We're planning to stay at Alona Palm, but they don't have a tennis court there. How far is Bohol Divers Resort from Alona Palm?

Thanks a lot and cheers.

Panglao Island Dumaluan or Alona?
Posted: Tue September 25, 2007 07:03 AM UTC
Hi Everyone!

This forum is very helpful. Some of my questions were already answered just by reading the posts. I have some more though. Hope to hear from everyone as it will be my first time in Bohol this November. We're still choosing where to stay, resort in Alona or Dumaluan? Please give your feedback about these two beaches.

If we stay at Bohol Beach Club, how do we get to Alona Beach? What's the cheapest mode of transpo and how far it is from Bohol Beach Club?

Thanks in advance! :)

I am working abroad and planning to go to Bohol with my family on Jan-11-14 next year when I take my vacation leave. Can anyone give me suggestions on where to stay? I've checked Bohol Beach Club and the place is great but is quite expensive so I want to know if my money would be really worth in staying there. Otherwise, can anyone suggest other places to stay? Thanks =)
