Estado de Puebla Travel from Puebla to SMA
Posted: Wed September 16, 2009 07:04 PM UTC
I will be in Puebla on business in early October, and I would like to visit friends in San Miguel de Allende. There doesn't appear to be a direct bus route between the two, without connecting in Mexico City. Does anyone know another way?

Puebla de Zaragoza Day trips from Puebla? Or???
Posted: Fri November 14, 2008 06:21 AM UTC
We'll be in Puebla for 3 days/4 nights, and are trying to decide how to fill our time. We'll definitely spend a day+ exploring Puebla, but in addition to that we're contemplating options. As best I can tell, top choices would be:

1) Visit Cholula. Seems nearby and interesting.
2) Visit Cuetzalan. Sounds like a great place to visit, but the 4 hour drive seems daunting for such a short trip.
3) Visit Cacaxtla. Ruins sound cool, and nearby
4) Cooking class at Meson Sacristia. Is this all day? Anybody done this?

Chances are we can only do 1-2 of those. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Estado de Puebla Hotel accomodation in Puebla
Posted: Tue October 3, 2006 06:44 AM UTC
Hello - I am looking for a hotel that is not smack dab in the center of the city, but still close enough to walk to sites of interest. I've seen some of the ones around the Zocalo but I am afraid it will be too noisy. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Acapulco Mar Azul
Posted: Mon July 31, 2006 04:32 AM UTC
My family will be staying at the Mar Azul in Acapulco for a week in August. Most of the reviews I have found on the Internet are positive but one recently posted talked about the area being scarry and the beach being dirty. Does anyone know anything about this property? Should we stick with it or find a different place to stay?

Acapulco Travelling to Puerto Vallarta or Guadelajara & food questions
Posted: Sun July 30, 2006 04:43 PM UTC
Just wondering, is it possible to get a bus from Acapulco to Puerto Vallarta or Guadelajara? If so, approximately how long would this take?
Also, anywhere interesting you would suggest visiting for a mexico first timer?

One more question, I will be travelling with a vegetarian who doesn't eat cheese either, will this be a HUGE problem?
thanks

Estado de Puebla Hola a todos!
Posted: Sun January 2, 2005 06:54 PM UTC
I'm planning to visit Puebla next summer and would like to visit some veterinary clinic so if you know a name and/or email of some clinic I'd be very happy to have it. Also all information about nice and cheap places to stay are welcome. Is there any bus going from the airport of Mexico D.F. to Puebla?

Muchas gracias!

Estado de Puebla Visiting Puebla
Posted: Fri May 14, 2004 09:13 PM UTC
I'm going to Mexico City next month and I'd like to visit Puebla for a) the highest pyramid b) the POPO volcanco. Just a few questions

a) how far is it from Mexico City
b) best mode of transporation (I'm guessing bus)
c) how much will it cost approx
d) how long do I need to stay in Puebla to see the pyramids, volcano and anything else that is worth seeing
e) safe and cheap place to stay overnight
f) is there anything else I can see in Puebla or near by town

If you know of any other info that would help, that woudl be great. I was thinking of going on the 28th - 29th
Thanks

San Carlos San Carlos in June
Posted: Sun April 25, 2004 10:08 PM UTC
Hi! We are planning a family vacation to San Carlos for the beginning of June.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to hotel accomodations, places to go, etc? We mainly want to hang out on the beach and hike around.

Has anyone stayed at the Loma Bonita Condo/Hotel?

I'd appreciate any ideas or suggestions. Thanks!
