Is there any service, drivers, limo, shuttle, between Pittsburgh airport and Morgantown? We may need a ride from Morgantown to Pittsburg airport or just a ride from the airport to Morgantown. Young teen coming in to stay with grandparents. Needs to be picked up.
I need to travel to Morgantown and I am having difficulty finding a flight that doesn't have multiple layovers. I have also tried to travel by train. Does anyone know of the most direct way to MGW from Pinehurst? I now believe by car might be the quickest way. Any help is appreciated.

Hello,
I need help bad! I'm a Army Recruiter moving to Charleston. We will be in town this week, I'm gonna have to get a motel for a week or so till we find a house. We need to find a cheap motel or hotel, that is cheap cause we are gonna have to stay for a week maybe 2. I would like to know the cheapest motel in town! Or closer enough to drive to South Charleston. It doesnt have to be the nicest place. I'm just trying to avoid paying tons of money! If you locals know of some places please reply soon...
In your review you mention some really yummy sounding items with a New Orleans influence and even some French specials. Just curious if you would list the chef & his credentials. I like to know about the kitchen when I visit a new restaurant. Thanx, Kathy K.
how can i set up a bus tour for a family of 19 on the Sunday before Christmas? I need to know how much it will cost and where in Dover Ohio we can get a Bus to do domething like this Thank you Janet
Many years ago I used to come to Charleston for the Annual Riverfest on the river on or about Labor day -- Do you still have the riverfest and if you do when is held?
Looking for a cabin in the New River Gorge area with 2-3 bedrooms and hopefully next to the water. This will be a family vacation with the intention of seeing the sites and doing some fishing. I would like to be on a lake to river to fish, must have a hot tub too.
Anyone have suggestions of places that they stayed or know of? We have looked at a lot of the brochures but you really don't know what you're getting unless you've seen it.
Could anyone provide information on Ripley, West Virginia? We are hoping to purchase a home on a few acres for retirement. We are looking for small town atmosphere and have seen photos of Ripley online. It would be great if we could get feedback from folks who have visited the area and suggestions on other parts of West Virginia too. Thanks to all who respond!!
Waterfalls Posted: Fri October 20, 2006 03:17 PM UTC
I am looking for some unique waterfalls to photograph in West Virginia. I have a few that I have taken pictures of here http://www.forestwander.com/indexwaterfalls.htm
However I am looking for the highest waterfall in West Virginia.
The waterfall that I have a picture of on http://www.forestwander.com is the second highest waterfall in West Virginia but I am looking for the highest waterfall.
Also I am looking for remote waterfalls that are inaccessible by car. we like to hike out to areas that are practically untouched.
Hi, I am considering attending college in the Charleston area, but I am concerned about the place being very small. I am from a large city and am not sure if I can get the same amenities as in a big city. Can I in Charleston? Also, I have heard that the area is very industrial and dirty, with lots of poverty? That true? Thanks.

In September, my family and I are going to be going to Memphis, and then thought we could drive on to West Virginia to visit my relatives (they live near Logan, WV). My question is this: although this isn't specifically about WV, could anyone recommend any side trips between Louisville, KY and Charleston? Thanks so much!!!
I'm pondering a trip to West Virginia around Christmas this year, and I wonder if anyone could give me any suggestions where to go. I'm driving from Fredericksburg (VA), so I'll probably visit somewhere in eastern WV. I'm not too interested in skiing though, or Christmas festivals or anything. Does anyone have a suggestion for where I could go?
Hello, I hope I'm writing to the correct forum (or maybe should try W. Virginia)?
Every other year since I was in university, I travel south to Florida from Ontario for Christmas. Most recently we've been traveling further West, through Ohio /Kentucky. This time we are considering the Easterly route through New York / Penn / through Beckley (thats the tunnel right? or is that Bluefield?) Wytheville, etc. (Hwy 77/74)
Lets say we chose the westerly route and were in Lexington, Kentucky the evening before? Are the highways passable from Lexington, KY to Beckley / Wytheville / Mt. Airy? Can anyone recommend a route? Sould we include a section of the Blue Ridge Parkway? I can see some highways on a map, just am concerned if there are gas stations open at night, or any other dangers? Also a recommendation for a good restaurant serving mmm buckwheat pancakes ;)? or anything else traditional?
Thanks for your advice - we're getting too 'arthritic' to sit in a car drinking Gatorade for 24 hours like we used to ;)
We plan to drive through the Potomac Highlands in West Virginia during the first week of August next year. I'll be travelling with two teenagers. Although I'm originally from America, I've never been to West Virginia. My children have been raised in Britain. The kids love America and like things that are quintessentially American. (probably so they can impress their friends back in the UK) I love the scenery but I'm also looking for activies for the kids. Any suggestions? We would also love to see some live music on the way. Can anyone recommend a good place to stop? Any recommended routes or places to avoid? Thanks for your help.
