I wanted to go to the Packers Game on November 15 in Greaan Bay, but wanted to Stay in Milwaukee. Does anyone know of a party bus serveice that would take us to and from Milwaukee to the Game? We only have 3 people, so we don't have the mass to rent a 15-20 person bus on our own....anyone have any ideas?

If I take the Amtrak train to Wisconsin Dells, what is the most convenient car rental company in location to the Amtrak station?

What is the easiest way to get to Chicago, from Appleton, if you don't want to drive is the traffic? The train is almost as far away as going to Chicago.

I'm new to Milwaukee and trying to find somewhere to jump off something high into water, like a cliff or something similar. Are there any rock quarries or cliffs around? Not really interested in diving boards.

We have traveled to Egg Harbor several times during the past few years, and always encountered weather we did not expect. Once we encountered the worst fog we have ever seen. Egg Harbor in Door County is one of the prettiest places in the United States, even in bad weather!

We are still planning our frequently delayed cross-country drive. I understand that the trip between Madison WI and Souix Falls SD is looong and boooring. We are not on a timetable and would like some info about interesting(if any)minor detours along this leg of our trip. We are NOT campers, hikers, fishermen, or the usual outdoors type.

Hi, I have planned 34 day - itinerary traveling in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. However I am not sure about amount of days in any particular place. For example is it enough 2 days in one place or maybe 2 days is too long? Did I allow enough time to travel between places? Could you please take a quick look and have some suggestions for improvement. Also I am not sure how to get from one place to another; we are thinking train, bus, car combination. I'm going to be travelling around Lake Michigan this summer and i was wondering if there was any real must-sees towns or places you thought i should check out when in Wisconsin?

I'm a 26yr old English guy who'll have his own car, i'm open to all suggestions really as i should have a week to spend in the state. I've heard Door County is meant to be really nice but any other tips would be appreciated.

which will cost me 1,700 US$ for the duration of the tours, or will I be able to do it on our own via eurail or the like. do you think it will be possible? if so,then how about accommodations? will it be hard to get a hotel near the train station for two.and will it be safe. thanks a lot for the help.Am running out of time since we plan to leave 1st or 2nd week of October..

We will travel to Norway, Sweden, and Copenhagen at the end of September.

It makes financial sense for us to purchase railpasses. We are debating purchasing a Scansaver pass, or else a Select pass (first class).

Are many/most of the trains in Scandinavia second class only? Is second class comfortable for longer train rides (e.g. greater than 4 hours).

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

We will be renting a vacation home on Goose Lake this year site inseen, but appears to be nice and I have spoken with owner who assures me it is what we need. We will have 8 people ages 10 thru 60. Assume 1 day kids will all go into the Dells , but looking for some feedback on the following;

We plan on some tubing What is the general feeling about people doing this? Do locals have a problem? Restricted hours for this? How is the lake?

What is available in local area for supplies such as groceries, restaurants, etc?

Low and high, high and low, I have looked everywhere. Has anyone done the Milwaukee, WI to Toronto, ONT trip using the ferry system across Lakes Michigan and Huron (God, I hope that's the right lake). I'm trying to find a way to avoid a nasty trip just on the US highway system going to Connecticut. Toronto to Connecticut is a scant 9 hour drive, whereas, Rochester, MN to CT is around 20 hrs. We will be taking a car (obviously) so portage with that item is mandatory.

We'll be heading out May 20. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a few days in Portage, however are there any alternative travel than Amtrak? There was only one train per day both arriving and departing! Does a bus/coach line run through? this was the only problem I had whilst there, the Motel was wounderful, people very friendly, I am definitely going back :)

I will be visiting Milwaukee in July. Are there any Polish restaurants, delis, grocery stores or liquor stores that carry Polish beers or booze? Thanks!

1- What are the general daily life expanses in the city (Sandwich, meal in a mid-range restaurant, Coke, Pizza, bus ride, etc....)
2- As Wisconsin is near the Canadian border, is it feasible to visit Montreal. Is there bus links, how much does cost the trip???
