Does the Gaylord Texan trolley require id that you are staying at the Galord in order to ride. I will be in town at the bass pro shop and would like to go visit the Gaylord but would rather take the trolley than drive to it. Can anyone ride or is it for guests only. What are the hours of operation?
I'm going to Ireland in three weeks and would like to know the best place (lowest fees, etc) in Dallas to exchange dollars for euros before I go.
Thanks
Hi, I've actually been living in Houston (Cypress) for about a month now and I have to communte weekdays to Pasadena. I am on a very tight budget and cannot easily afford to take the toll roads. I leave everyday about 7 AM and it takes me usually about 1 hour and 40 minutes. My question is as follows: is there a better (faster) route than what I'm taking currently (posted below). I live about 7 miles from Jones/290 and I take 290 to 610 to I-10 back to 610 to 225 and to the appropriate Pasadena exit. My gps says to take 610 to 45 to 225, but I've quickly learned trying to get on 45 is a mistake. I would be greatly indebted to anyone that could reccomend a route that would shave off time and therefor shave off the stress of worrying if I'm going to be late.
This is my first time trip to houston and this is also my first time in US. I would fly to houston in next couple of weeks on business, will be staying in Courtyard Houston Northwest, and my office just opposite the main road.

I am thinking about gettin married in houston next year. My soon to be hubby and I grew up together in houston. Our favorite spot is sitting in front of the water wall watching it as night falls. Now that we are ready to seal the deal we were wondering if its possible to have a wedding reception there?? Please help me find out if it is a yey or nay!
I will be in Dallas in December for a couple of weeks and remember seeing a brochure on a previous trip regarding a tour where money was manufactured. For
some reason I thought it was in Fort Worth but have been unable to find it on Google. Checking Dallas it shows there is a Federal Reserve Bank and would like to know if this is where money is made ? Any help you can give me will be appreciated as I would like to go to the tour this trip. Thank you, Allison Clark

Searching for a friend who is a “transplant “ (a person who is not born in the Dallas Fort Worth area) who wants to learn the city. I travel frequently, and my goal is to learn more about what is happening here in the DFW/Austin area. I am looking for someone to travel with; who wants to visit restaurants, historic landmarks, beaches, attractions, museums, events, and the nightlife. Someone who would like to fill a few gaps within their schedule, with visiting new places in the area.
Must be over 30, friendly, adventurous, travel exp. not necessary, and who has a flexible schedule.
All emails will be answered.
Is someone familiar with the Houston airport? My sister in law will be arriving from McAllen Texas into Houston (Continental Airlines) and continuing onto Calgary, Alta. from Terminal A. Continental tells us that she will likely arrive into Terminal C but that could change at any time.
She has a tight connection and will have a baby and child along. We are all unfamiliar with the airport and wondering about distance/transportation between terminals etc.
we are visiting ft. worth this month via the tre and want to ride the trolley to the arts district from the t & p station. Does the trolley stop at the dtation?
I'll be in the Fort Worth/Lewisville in early Sept for a few days for work, but have a couple of free days. I arrive on a Saturday afternoon and have Sunday free, and I think I have another free day on Friday.
I've been watching Pro Bull Riding on TV for a while and would like to go to a rodeo. I checked the Mesquite Rodeo website but the schedule only goes to the end of August. Will there still be something going on when I am in town? And is this the best place to go? How would I get there from Lewisville if I am not driving?
What else would you recommend? Some smart alec at the office suggested Southfork ranch...
Hello,
My girlfriend and I are taking a cross country road trip from Boston to LA and back in a sideways U shape. We are planning to visit New Orleans and eventually the Grand Canyon, but aren't sure what to see in between.
What are some "must sees" in Texas (and New Mexico)? Should we stay South and follow 10 through Houston, San Antonio, and El Paso, or should we go up to Dallas and follow 40? (If we time it right we might catch an Astros-Red Sox game in Houston!)
Also, we will mostly be camping along the way to save money and "rough it." Given that the drive is 10+ hours, we will probably spend a night somewhere in Western Texas. Any suggestions? Are we crazy for camping in Texas in August?
I need a little help..I'm bringing my guy to Dallas for the weekend.. I have been there several times but its been a few years.. I know we stayed at Hyatt Downtown by where Reunion was. I think we took a tram to Westend but in my mind it was really within walking distance.. Should we ride or walk..also..I remember going underground in a tunnel to get over by the "JFK" area. Seems it had a walkway. I may be dreaming..lol.. Anyway.. I just wanted to be a little prepared before we go. Is Hyatt a close place to stay if going to Westend one night? I saw there is a Westend hotel but would rather stay at Hyatt if it's close enough.. We are going out to a ballgame Sat night but would rather stay in close and spend more time in that area... any suggestions or comments welcome!!!
I got stung about 7 times but could not see what actual stung me but all around me was the clear, white Jellys. When I got out there were no tenicles on me but my legs really stung and hurt. Someone told me to put urine on the areas and the sting would go away - so I did that and it was better. But ever since then I feel nauses and faint - it's been 4 days feeling this way. Should I go to the doctor?
Any suggestions on how to spend 7 hours btwn flights in Houston. Arriving 9 am from Mexico, and leaving at 6pm to LA/Australia. Are there any day tours or 'just go and see this, e.g. downtown, or??" Save me from airport boredom.
Hi~
I am going to trip to the Big Bend NP with my family.
This trip is the first for my family in America.
We will start in the afternoon on May 22nd.
We will stay at midland, TX on May 22nd night and stay at Chisos Mountains Lodge from May 23rd to 25th.
My Kids are 10 and 5 years old.
I want to make one of the unforgettable events for my two daughters.
But I am worried about this trip because I can't find a good plan for my family yet.
I found out the many route and trail but what is the best of the best for me.
Please give me a good idea for my family.
I apologize for the poor quality of my English.
