does anybody have an idea about how long a jeepride from Skardu across Deosai to Astor takes? Possibilities and costs?

Hi I am planning a Trek in July and interested in a trek that would take 10-12 days. Ideally I would like to do the Concordia trek to K2 base camp, is it possible to complete the trek in 12 days.

Any suggestions on tour operators who can offer flexible itineraries would be great.

Would really appreciate a response.

is any body out there interested in doing trekking to K2 mountains base camp from hushey passing thru gondogoro la pass and then back to hushey or possibly to askole,,, if any body interested please contact me,, i am planning this trek in first week of june, or may be early

I have the following questions and i will be thankful to anybody who can answer,
1. How much does the porters charge per day?
2. Are we are responsible for their food and accomodation during the trek?
3. Do normal Gas cylinders work there or there r any specific ones?
4. Do we need any special shoes i.e shoes with spikes for the trek or the normal ones would do?
5. Any other specific equipment that we may need?

time needed for skardu to astore

I and my wants to visit Astore and Deosai and wanted an economical and low cost tour. Kindly anyone could guide.
