Hahn Airport hotel Franfurt-Hahn
Posted: Tue December 16, 2008 07:22 PM UTC
I have been to Hahn airport, and seen an add, witch says:Room for two person 29e/night.I wrote it at paper, and name of the hotel, but I lost the paper.I also heard one woman telling, that she had stayed at that hotel, and it really was that cheap. And they had a car picking up from airport and taking back in the morning(they had a flight with Ryanair),but she had also forgotten the name of the hotel. They had even got a car to take them to dinner somewhere from the hotel.I don´t know how much they paid extra-or was it at the price.
After two years:Does someone know,is that hotel still there, and do they have a web-page?Even if the price would have rised a little.

Bardenbach Bardenbach or Badenbach?
Posted: Wed April 2, 2008 10:32 PM UTC
I would like to visit my ancestors' home which is listed on a US census document as Badenbach. I have found only two references to Badenbach on the entire worldwide web and cannot locate it on any German map. But Bardenbach is a close match. Does anyone know if these are one and the same? Another census shows Trier as the hometown. Is Bardenbach part of the Trier region? Thanks for your help.

Kirrberg Help With Holiday Accomodation In Kirrberg (D-66424), Homberg
Posted: Tue August 21, 2007 07:07 PM UTC
Hi there

I am going to visit my pen friend for the 3rd time, however, he stays in.... D-66424, Homberg, Kirrberg. I am going to his home town for the first time, and I'm looking for a hotel, appartment or guest house (cheaply priced) for 7 nights stay.

I have searched the internet but cannot find anything at all, and practically nothing in English. Can anyone help me here ?? I want to get booked up soon.

I can't stay with him, as he's in a country apartment riddled with spiders etc, and insects freak me out, so I have no choice but look for accomodation. My planned trip is in December 3rd-10th. He stays on the Collingstrasse, if that's of any help, and he can drive also.

Hoping someone can help me, thanks :)

Meg, Scotland.

Can you please tell me the distance between the Saarbrucken Airport and the train station where I would catch the train to Paris? Also, do you know if there is public transportation between the two? Thank you.

Saarbrücken First time visitor
Posted: Fri December 29, 2006 03:03 PM UTC
I am 52 years old and traveling to Germany for the first time. My grandparents were both born & raised in Germany and my grandfather was from Saarbrucken. I want to spend some time in the town and am looking for suggestions as to how to best get a sense of the town's history as well as how the locals live now. Also, I am assuming that most public records were destroyed during the war, but if anyone has information about how to trace my family tree while I am there that would be appreciated as well. thank you.

Saarland Cheap accommodation in Saarbrücken
Posted: Sun December 17, 2006 05:16 PM UTC
I intend to be staying in Saarbrücken (Rastpfuhl near Lebacher straße ) to for between 2-3 weeks starting on the 28th of Decemeber 2006. I’m looking for very cheap accommodation that can be booked each day instead of doing so in advance. That’s because I have a friend there who might be able to put me up some nights. I’m just looking for a basic room that has a bed and shower and no more.

Any help would be appreciated,

Robert

Saarland Transport and living
Posted: Fri July 28, 2006 11:31 AM UTC
Hi everybody!=))
I`m going to Saarbruecken, beginning August for my internship. I`ll live in Saarbruecken-Scheidt, actually, and the problem is I don`t know (as do not know the people who have organized the living=)) where exactly I`m actually going to stay=))). I mean, I looked through some internet pages, found on Google maps the street (that`s already good=)))!), but no Wohnheim or anything og the kind in der Naehe=) and I`m sure it`s no private apartment. Well, it`s Keiserstrasse 233, 66133 Saarbruecken-Scheidt. Does anybody know what can be there? The closest thing from there - the Saarbriuecken university.
Second problem, how much do you think it`s going to cost me if I buy a ticket for the bus (or anything that goes from there till Alte Saarbruecken) for one month?
Thanx in advance!

Saarbrücken Suche Sprachhelfern
Posted: Mon May 16, 2005 04:36 PM UTC

Danke schoen!

Posted: Wed August 4, 2004 06:07 PM UTC
Vielen Dank.

Posted: Tue July 27, 2004 03:25 PM UTC
In September, I will be looking for a Hotel in or near Saarbrucken. I would like someone to recomend one. I would prefer a typical old German Hotel as opposed to the standard "Holiday Inn" type place. Any ideas anyone?

Saarland Traveling to Saarbrucken- Several Questions
Posted: Mon March 29, 2004 03:17 AM UTC
Hi,
I will be traveling to Saarbrucken from NC USA in 3 weeks. From Frankfurt, how far is it via rail? miles/time
Also, got used to Bed&Breakfast stays while living in UK. Are there any recommended B&B's in Saarbrucken?
When booking a hotel in Germany, does a "double room" mean 2 single beds? This is what I am after-
and am going to use Reservation Service DB.Want to be sure before doing so.
Any hints on value lodging or other things I will need?
