We are looking for somewhere to stay in France from January to end of february or March. We will be traveling to Midi-pyrenees for Spring but would like to find somewhere a little warmer (dryer) for the end of the winter. Our biggest concern is that we are not in a tourist area that would be dead during the winter.

Hi, does anybody know if (and how many and how long) there are tunnels on the road between Collioure and Cadaques as I am not found of those and driving that road in a few days. Thanks in advance!

We've started to look for self-catering apartments in Collioure for next summer. We have found these ad-sites:

Homelidays. http://www.homelidays.co.uk/EN-Holidays-Rental/fr_languedocrous_66-pyreneesorientales_fr/collioure_r3.asp

Holidaylettings. http://www.holidaylettings.co.uk/collioure/hom_home_type.apartment/

HomeAway. http://www.holiday-rentals.co.uk/collioure/s/2412/fa/find.squery

Self-Catering-Breaks. http://www.self-catering-breaks.com/Properties/France/Languedoc/Collioure/

Does anyone have any experience booking from one of these? Any recommendations? Are the ads reliable? Do the ads show the real truth about the apartments?

Do you know about a gem of an apartment not found in these sites?

Thanks for any info.

Is this a good holiday spot for two 17 year old boys? Is there enough to do e.g. bars places to go in the evening etc?

Anyone advise me of a reliable link for rail connections from Girona to Collioure, alternatively from Cerbere to Collioure (as the Renfe timetable for the Spanish leg of the journey terminates at Cerbere), please?
Info needed quite urgently!

Hi, I was looking to Honeymoon in Collioure for 1 or 2 weeks. I was trying to find a place online, but it is very hard to tell what youre gonna be signing up for. I was wondering if anyone knows of any nice lodgings to honeymoon in. A little remote would be nice. Thanks,
