How can I go from Genting Highland to Penang by express bus ?

We will be travelling to Genting by night bus and according to the tour operator, we will arrive at about 5.00 am. At that time, where can we find breakfast? Thanks in advance.

I may visit Genting to take the kids to the Theme Parks. But how about Adults?

What attractions can be interesting for them in Genting?

I'm planning to make a half day trip to KL from Genting. However, I'm not sure if I will be able to catch the last bus back to Ganting. I want to shop in the Golden triangle (Bukit Bintang). Can you guys tell me if the fastest way is to take the cable car to the foot of Genting and hop onto the Genting bus to KL Puduraya station? Is there another fast and cheap alternative (other than taking cab)? Another worry that I have is, will I still be able to get a chance to buy the ticket back to Genting on the same day itself, assuming once I reach Puduraya I'll go straight to the Genting counter asap to buy a ticket? What is the last departure time for the Genting bus? Assuming if the ticket is sold out for the last departure time, what is my next best and economical alternative to get back to Genting? I'm not very familiar with KL. All replies are deeply appreciated. Thanks!

I know there are cabs that go KL to Genting.

I wld like to know information abt buses that go that route, how much they cost the frequency & boarding points in KL. Any website wld B helpful.

I tried the Genting website - but there is only info on their on bus service.

I have been told there are many other operators. I have small luggage (cabin size) and small back-pack. Wld it B ok to travel on the bus to Genting with this ?

I think the cab wld B more costly for 1 person.

After reading diverse reviews about First World hotel, I am confused.I shall be going to genting in last week of April 2007 for 2 days and have booked a Deluxe view room at First World hotel..I shall be accompanied by my hubby and 3 year old son.I want to know if i havent made too bad a decision by booking First world room? please help.

I’ll be going to Genting on the 2nd week of May. Although this is not the 1st trip to there, I still have some question.

1. How is the temperature and is it rainy season?
2. I remember the pervious time I went there by couch, they stop over at the middle of Genting for us to buy Chocolate. Is the shop still there?

Hi, we are a family of three. We are from India. We are planning to visit KL by taking the Air Asia flight from JB to KL LCCT which arrives at 10.10am and return by the same flight two days later. We want to spend one day at KL and one day at Genting. Is it better to stay in a KL hotel and take the day trip to Genting and return on the same day? What time does the bus/train leave from KL and from which area? Or is it better to stay over at a Genting hotel? Regards/Bala

I have read so many mixed reviews about this hotel. Some good and some bad. A personal friend of mine said not to stay in this hotel. She said the room is tiny and the service is bad. However, I've seen a couple of good reviews in VT.
So, any other opinions about this hotel?
Our company is organising a trip to Genting on 8 April and we are going to spend the night there. Is it a good place to stay for a family with 2 kids?

hi!i will be going on a daytrip to genting from berjaya hotel. i plan to experience riding on the cable car, experience the snow world, motion master, flying coaster, the flume ride (how much does this ride cost?) and the monorail station. What kind of ticket should i buy? or should i just pay-per-ride? then maybe bus or taxi going back to berjaya. how much should be the budget per person? Around how much would it cost taking taxi from genting to berjaya?

I'm planning to bring my wife and 9 month old baby to Genting for a 1 day trip. Is it ok to bring my baby to Genting considering the cold temperature and other circumstances? Are babies allowed to ride the cable cars?
We will be coming from Singapore and my plan is to Genting, Malaysia early morning and go back to Singapore in the evening of same day. But also considering if we could spend a night there and leave the same day. Which hotel would be the best and affordable?
Can you give a rough estimate on how much budget must we allocate for a 2-day and 1-night stay in Genting? Including the transportation cost, theme park tickets, food and accomodation?

I have read that rooms and toilet in First World Hotel is cramp and the sound insulation is poor. Is it true ?

Some visitors commented that Theme Park and Resort Hotels have more spacious rooms though the rooms are a bit run down. How are the room and toilet facilities in these two hotels ? Will it be too cramp when I bath my children ?

Of the 3 hotels, which will be your first, second and third choice ?

It's hard for me to find coach services that travel from Sing-Genting. I'd prefer travel during the night (sleeping on the coach). Could someone recommend any coach services on that route?

Hi there. Can someone guide us with planning our trip to Genting? We are family of 6 - 2 adults and children aged 13, 12, 4 and 1. We are staying 6 nights in KL then hopefully 2 nights in Genting.

I am looking at the AWANA Golf Resort as we are golf nuts. I noticed online they do a 2 bedroom condo (but can't seem to be able to book this, as they only offer the tower and 1 bedroom condo) Does anyone know if the 2 bedrooms can be booked, if so how?

We plan to leave KL on at 4pm flight. What time should we leave AWANA for flight (Air Asia)

i will be staying in kl. how can i travel from kl to genting spend one day at genting stay overnight at genting then travel straight to kl airport from genting to catch a flight to sydney

Greeting. I would like to know the journey depart from Genting right back to Singapore especially after descending e "mountain". Going from Singapore to Genting is much easier but e fact that one of me friend was turning round and round finding his way out of KL to Singapore.
Pls advise the whole journey and thanks you.
