Hi.. I plan to go to Genting Highland on 3-4 May. This will be my first time to Malaysia. Need to be in KL on 4 for conference. I plan to buy ticket to Genting from Airport.
1. Should I just buy bus ticket from Genting to KL? Where should I get off? How much?
2. Any idea the reasonable hotel/homestay? I searched First World and Theme PArk Hotel, they are sold out.
Appreciate your help.

our flight to Kuala Lumpur arrives at 3 AM. how do we get to First World Genting hotel from KL airport? is there a bus that leaves the airport very early in the morning?

Hi! Does anybody know how to get to Chin Swee Temple in Genting Highland? I'm planning to travel to KL & wants to visit this peaceful temple but don't know how to get to it after I reached the the top of the highland by the cable car.

Have anyone went to Genting highland during Chinese New Year(CNY)? How is the crowd during this festive season?

I'm planning to go on 07 Feb 08, which is the 1st day of the CNY. It's public holiday for most of the country with Chinese too. Will genting be flooded with tourist? I don't want to spend my lovely holiday squeezing/queuing/waiting with the crowd.

In dec 25, I will travelling to Genting Highland, but the Hotel was all fully booked ? I try to book from the official Genting website, also some singapore online booking hotel website.
But, has tried in last 2 weeks, also failed.
Need advise from anyone that now about bookng hotel in Genting Highland area.

Day 1:

Spend a day at Genting. Planning to take a overnight bus from Genting to Singapore.

Day 2:

Arrive Singapore in the morning; Spend rest of the day sight seeing; Stay ovenight in the hotel.

Day 3:

Visit Sentosa Island & other Singapore city sight seeing;
Take overnight bus/coach to KL.

Day 4:
Arrive KL ealry in the morning; Go to KLIA. Catch an international flight scheduled to deaprt at 9:30 AM.

My questions are:

1. Which coach company do you recommend? Possible to buy RT ticket at Genting back to KL?

2. Are there any direct buses from Singapore to KLIA?

3. Which coach company has optimum scheduled buses for me to reach KL on time and catch a flight?

4. If there are no direct buses from Singapore to KLIA, what are the other economical options we have (other than flight)(we are party of 4)?

5. Is it better to leave Singapore around 3:00 PM and reach KL by 9:00 and stay in KLIA hotel to catch next morning flight? If so, how do I organize my Singapore sight seeing? Move Sentosa island to Day 2?

hi, good day. planning to take a trip to genting next month by Grassland Express.. If the coach leaves at 10pm from singapore to genting, how many hours does the trip usually take? How about on the return trip? if it leaves at 2:30pm from genting to singapore, what time will it arrive in singapore? i checked the schedule at their website but it didnt say anything about the arrival time....

Hello,i am planning to travel to Genting from Singapore with my 4 years old kid.

What is the best way to get there from Singapore ?
As i know, by coach will need about 5 or 6 hours drive and i think it will not a best way for 4 years old kid.
Anybody know, can we rent a car for 4 adults and 2 kids from SG and how much cost for it for oneway trip ?
