| Cameron Highlands | 3D2N stay Posted: Tue April 3, 2007 11:35 PM UTC
Is it worth it to join some day tours while visitng CH? or is it pretty easy to go around by yourself?
And does anyone know anything about Cameron Highlands Resort?? It looks beautiful (eventhought quite expensive). I read somewhere that says it's a bit out of the way. How easy is it to get around CH during the day and during the night? |

| Cameron Highlands | Bala's Chalet or Lake House Posted: Mon March 5, 2007 08:31 AM UTC
Hi all,
this is my first trip to CH in 15 years.Have no intention to visit until I read about some interesting and cosy accomodation in CH. I like the styles of B & Bs found in countries such as Australia, UK or NZ etc. I also appreciate the old world English charm. Would like to seek your opinions on the following: 1)Which is a better choice considering my above preferance? Bala's or Lakehouse? 2)I read many reviews of the Lake House. Some good some bad. There are many classes of rooms in Lake House. Has anyone tried their deluxe rooms? Any feedback or reviews? 3)For the same price of deluxe room, I can get a suite in Bala's chalet. Any feedback or reviews on the Raffles suite? 4) Does both (deluxe in Lake House and Raffles in Bala's) come with a long bath? Also, TV with cable? Apprecate all your help. |

| Cameron Highlands | Need your opinion! Posted: Tue February 27, 2007 06:29 AM UTC
1) Travelling from KL-CH, and plan to stay one night only. Worth the trip for nature lovers like us?
2) How is the trip from KL-CH? I read its a long windly uphill ride. If it will result to motion sickness, the trip might not be worth it. 3) Since we're taking the bus from KL-CH, which is more convenient for us to spend the night? Tannah Rata or Brinchang? 4) How far is Tannah Rata from Brinchang? which is more 'livelier'? 5) I am scouring the net for the best places for us to stay, but when I check the reviews of the places i checked, not so good. So any recommendations? 4 adults, budget between 100-150, decent and clean and at least comfortable enough. Since we're spending only one night, we'd like to take as much CH in as possible, so convenience is a MUST. (hotel preferably 5-10min walking distance to bus station) I NEED YOUR HELP. |

| Cameron Highlands | Ammended cameron highlands Posted: Wed February 14, 2007 02:12 AM UTC
hi members,
I would like to seek your kind suggestion on my stay in cameron higlands on coming 23/24/2/07. Im going for my second honeymoon there and looking for a cheap and pleasant stay. My budget for pernight stay would be RM60-RM70. Normally when we see this kind of prices we will think of bad or poor service lodge. But the scenario have changed now. For an example if u r from penang u can get good, clean, best hotel by name friendship hotel or goodhope inn where they charge only RM55 per night. In mainland Sunflower motel would be the best. Im not looking Royal service as long the motel is new, clean, cheap is done for me. Looking for Help!!! I believe that cameron highlands is a big place consist of some major town like ringlet, tanah rata, and brinchang i hope in the towns there will be mushrooming new motel which will be giving a competitive price. so can any one please give me a specific motel name which is not listed in the internet with the telefon number togather. thanks |

| Cameron Highlands | Heading to CH from 22nd Feb till 26th Feb possible? Posted: Fri January 12, 2007 07:12 AM UTC
Hi, am planning a trip to CH from 22nd Feb onwards till 26th Feb from Singapore.
As it's still Chinese New Year period, can anyone advise me if there will be transportation available to head up to CH? Am thinking to make my way up via JB=>KL=>Tapah=>CH ... so it's coaches and bus all the way. Should I be concerned about shortage of bus/coach tickets? Thanks a lot. |

Anyone knows if their bathrooms are clean? How abt the condition of their rooms? also-anyone can recommend some good restaurants for meals? | Cameron Highlands | Bungalow with BBQ Posted: Sun October 22, 2006 06:20 AM UTC
Hi all.
Planning a family trip up to Cameron Highlands with about 10 people. Surf through many forums and websites on getting a accomodation where we can BBQ but to no avail. For the BBQ do not need the pit, will bring a mini one up. Just need to buy the food over there. Now having a headache looking for a clean and nice bungalow/resort that allows us to BBQ on one of the nights. Place must be furbished and clean as family members are particular about it thus no budget on price. Any recommendations anyone please? Thks.. |

| Cameron Highlands | Lumut to Cameron? Posted: Wed October 18, 2006 09:44 PM UTC
Hello,
Am wondering if anyone knows if there is any bus direct from Lumut to Cameron? If not what is the next best alternative as I understand there is one bus going from Tapah - Lumut at 11.00am (traveling time of 2 1/2hours and costing RM13.50) daily. There should be a return bus should there not? Would also appreciate if could provide with the details like the cost, timing and duration. Also whether needs to book in advance (if so where and how). Anyway, my plan is to be travelling the above mentioned route in mid-december this year God Willing... Thanks in advanced... Peace out! |

Heya,
I'm going to visit Malaysia in a couple of days and I've been recommended to go to Genting and Cameron Highlands. I'm kinda confused about a coupla things: - How do I get from KL to Genting (i.e. which is the best route? we're 2 adults and a child and we're staying at KL) - How do I get to Cameron Highlands to Genting? Is there a bus service? If so, any details you guys can give me? - Also, we're planning to stay a night at Cameron, are there any cheap hotels recommended? Thanks =) |
