Help on itinerary please .. Posted: Thu November 5, 2009 02:47 PM UTC
Hi,
Did some research and basically, we like to visit some temples, rice fields, lakes and volcanoes. We also like so see the various beach spots , especially large surfs and nice views. We like to see more nature.
We like to visit the following places, but they are all over the island and i cant seem to fit them into my scheule.
I would really appreciate some advise on how best to do this. I'm also open to options to remove some places or add in "similar" places which may be more along the way.
Day 1 : Arriving airport at 1230. Heading to amed , planning to arrive in evening.
Day 6 : From Legian area to ubud (full day sightseeing )
Day 7 : From ubud to airport, arriving airport by 3.30pm
Roughly, i was thinking :
Day 1 :
Berkasih
Kerta gosa, klungkung
Ulu Danu, Lake Berutan
Day 6 :
Tanah Lot
Uluwatah temple
Kintamani, lake batur- mount batur crater ?
Goa gajah
Sideman road,
Jatiluwuh rice field
Day 7 :
Gunung Kawi
Ubud city and market
Is it possible to fit the below into anywhere or i should just skip them ?
Mengwi road temple- Taman Ayun
Pura Batukau, Lake Batukau, Gunung Batukaru
Is it possible to get to the crater without hiking ?
Really appreciate your advice and many thanks !

Totally Totally Lost.......Some help would be great! Posted: Tue October 13, 2009 06:55 PM UTC
Hi,
My sister has got married recently. I want to gift her a honeymoon package@Bali as her wedding gift this October. I was looking at lot of villas and hotels and totally lost as to which one is the best. Please help me to find the most romantic and the best hotel/villa in Bali which has a private pool if possible which has also a beach view. Something heavenly...out of the world...at the same time the service and cleanliness should be excellent.
Also, it should provide some good vegetarian food. I want it to be the most memorable time in her life.
Thanks so much in advance

Nusa Lembongan Posted: Sun October 4, 2009 12:18 AM UTC
We've never been to Nusa Lembongan , but given that I don't surf and won't be doing any serious diving, is it a worthwhile destination for a beach bum? And where should we stay? Prefer downmarket, but on/near the beach. And getting there from Bali? Boat from Sanur? Any recommendations for a company making the trip? Booking boats? Or is private charter economical for 2 people?

Hi,
This December i am planning for a trip for the family to Bali. Was surfing around for accommodation and came across Vacation Villas that comes with cook, maid, driver etc.

Anyone has experience with them and is staying in a vacation villas worth it?

Nusa Dua / Benoa Posted: Tue September 8, 2009 01:08 PM UTC
Later this year i will spent with my wife my holiday in Bali (Nusa Dua Area).
As I prefer to eat outside the hotel but being disabled (wheelchairuser) I am looking for some restaurants in the Nusa Dua area which I can reach by wheelchair.
Somebody told me there are restaurants in the Benoa area which pick up potential clients from the hotel if dining in their restaurant.
Suggestions/names?

Bali-Seminyak Suites Posted: Mon June 29, 2009 03:56 AM UTC
Hi All,
My family and I are going to Bali in September. We will be staying in Seminyak Suites at Bali Reski Asih, Jalan Sari Dewi No.9. It seems that they are many resorts with the same name - Seminyak Suites but I could not find the details for this particular resort.
Anyone knows or stayed there before? How is this resort? Kids friendly and etc.
Appreciate for your info on this resort. Any advice? Tq.

Hotel in Ubud Posted: Wed June 24, 2009 11:10 AM UTC
Hi All
This will be my second time to Bali. Had stayed in Kuta area during my first visit and I planned to stay in Ubud this time.
I have shortlisted a few hotel within my budget of below USD 100. Can someone tell me which is better and if they are close to town. Or if you have suggestions of hotel within my budget.
- d'Omah hotel Bali
- Biyukukung Suites and Spa
- Pertiwi Resort & Spa
One important factor (may sound silly for tropical country) is that the hotel must not be mozzie infested. My hubby attracts mozzies easily (dunno why, he can get bitten like 10 times and I get nothing) and he gets very irritated if the hotel is infested by them. Repellent doesn't help much.
I will also be doing a bicycle trip and would like to have some other ideas of what else I can do in Ubud and Bali. I have been to the usual places like Tanah Lot, Kitamani and won't be visiting them again.
Many thanks in advance!

Low key beach accommodation in Bali? Does it still exist? Posted: Tue June 16, 2009 10:47 PM UTC
My girlfriend & I are going to Bali for the 1st time this November. It will be a relatively short visit of 8 nights.
Apart from a bit of sightseeing (Ubud is drawing me!), we just want small, low-key & simple accommodation in the least commercialised area, on or walking distance to a beach.
Is this possible? The coast seems to be full of resorts only. Is there anywhere more intimate?
I have heard the west coast is less busy. Does anyone know of a little gem somewhere?
Thanks for any help.
