I am planning to walk the HPR and be in Gavarnie about early-mid june how much snow will be left on the high passes, the Alps havn't had much snow this year and i was wondering if the Pyrenees had the same low snowfall, I was going to take instep crampons no ice axe just walking poles.

I will be going to Gavarnie this June. I would like to know how cold it is and how far from to the town of Gavarnie to the Cirque de Cascades.
