Does it open every day?(the website of the park does not mention it!)
If I get off at Kampung Rambutan, what mode of transport can access to there? Is it easy to find it? (cos I will visit there on my own way!) A bit nervous!

I'll be visiting Jakarta for some workshops at Bentara Budaya Jakarta (in front of Kompas Daily).
Some people told me that it is at the South Jakarta while other said it's at West Jakarta???? Can someone please clarify for me?? Thanks..

I am an individual traveller who have never been to Jakarta, I would like to go to Tamin mini Indonesia Indah.
If I stay at central area, is it easy to take a city taxi to get to there? How much is it?
After the trip, is it easy to get a city taxi to get back to the city centre?

I am an individual traveller, it is widely said that the traffic to and from the airport of Jakarta is very chotic and jammed. Then I would like to be advised on how many hours should I reserve if I come from Central jakarta by airport bus and taxi?
Is the airport bus reliable?

My friend and I fly from Bali to Jakarta on August 2, and our plane leaves the next night at 10 pm. Cany anyone recommend a mid-range hotel (30-60 US dollars) or a good area of town to stay in? Does anyone know the price of a taxi to and from the airport? Any other suggestions as to how I should pass my time in Jakarta is greatly appreciated!!

my fren n i had plan a trip to jakarta-bandung this coming july. we need some advice whether it is possible to get train ticket from gambir-bandung on weekend? probably on Saturday. could we get the ticket a few hours before it depart or it is impossible to get ticket tickets on weekend as it would be sold out? oor plane is schedule to be arrive at jakarta airport around 10pm on friday. so, we plan to get ticket the next morning. is it possible? or we should wait till monday to travel to bandung? is it easier to get ticket on monday? thanxxx...

I am a 25 years old guy visiting Jakarta alone next month. I will be there for 3 days.

What are the must visit sightseeing places? Where are the good shopping places - landmark shopping centres, good market places etc.?

Can someone help me with this itineary?

PS. Museums, monuments or parks and similars are out for me.

Except this time without the kids who I brought 4 years ago. No more Anchol water parks and pizza huts for a change. But I have a few questions: I have been reading about Block M in south Kakarta. Alot of nightlife for singles, is that correct? Are there good hotels there? Is the area safe for walking? How late do night spots remain open? Also, I read about police check points,copies of passports needed and so forth. What is this crab? Do the police check on you when you are walking or in a taxi? And if they do, why? Or is it just for the locals? And again, why? I never saw that four years back. Not even once. Or was I just lucky? Info on this and especially decent hotels in the district will be appreciated. It's been about four years since I visited Jakarta. Long time, hasn't it? Have hotel prices gone up so much( I mean the 5 stars ones)? How's the traffic? Has it improved since? How is the road trip to the mountains nearby? Is it still too crowded on weekends? How are the people? Are they still as friendly and smiling as ever? And what about villas for rent in the mountains? I'll reach Jakarta at 1000pm++, after checkout I guess 1100pm. How to get accommodation at this particular hour in Central Jakarta or any budget accommodation around the Jakarta Airport Terminal 2?
Since Next day, I planning to visit Bandung, better to stay in Central Jakarta, take the train to Bandung? Or stay nearby Terminal 2, fetch a mini van to Bandung. Your advice is much appreciated. Thanks!
