| Vatican City | Question on Statue Posted: Mon November 13, 2006 11:15 PM UTC
Hi, Just returned from a trip to the Vatican and can't seem to find identification for a statue (attached as my photo). It is located in a round room in the Vatican Museum with numerous other statues of the same background. Any ideas would be appreciated.

| Vatican City | Tour or not Posted: Wed October 25, 2006 08:06 AM UTC
Hi all!
We're visiting the Vatican in November, and I'm wondering how we should best go about it. I've read a lot of good about the Angel tours, but I was wondering if it's really worth it, as it's probably less crowded in November anyway. Could you tell me what I should do? A tour or not, and if so, which tour! As usual, thanks for all your help! An indecisive Groentje |

| Vatican City | contacting Vatican for visually impaired tours Posted: Tue October 17, 2006 08:30 PM UTC
I'll be visiting the vatican in December with my wife and tried faxing them for a tour reservation as I am visually impaired. I followed their instructions on doing so on their web site in the visitor services section. However, the fax number seems to be out of service and I also tried the regular guided tour fax number and still no luck. Can anyone help me on obtaining any Vatican contact information as I am not able to come across any additional telephone or fax number. Nor can I find an e-mail address where I can write them about my enquiry.
Also, might anyone know what the tour for a visually impaired person consist of? many thanks, Cristobal |

| Vatican City | Vatican on Sunday October 1? Posted: Sun September 10, 2006 03:44 AM UTC
I tell you, planning a trip to the Vatican isn't easy! I am planning on attending a mass at St. Peter's on Sunday October 1 but I understand now that all the museums are closed. Is there anything else open or worth attending in the Vatican on a Sunday? Does the pope have his Sunday Angelus every week?
Thank you! |

Hi,
I am specifically looking where exactly are the exits of the Vatican Grottoes. Many websites are telling me that it's by the cortilone and I want to know what is it exactly and where does it lead to. Can someone answer my question? Observing4Grace |

| Vatican City | Should I reserve tickets for The Vatican Museum? Posted: Wed May 3, 2006 06:37 PM UTC
Hello!
I am visiting Rome & the Vatican at the end of May. While reserching the Vatican, I am getting conflicting reports as to whether or not I should try to reserve tickets for the Vatican Musuem. One source said you cannot get reservations for general admission to the museum, only for private tours. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks for your help! -Kristin |
