Hi! Over this coming weekend my wife and I are motoring to Naukuchiatal for 4 night stay at a resort called"Lake Resort Naukuchiatal".Has anybody stayed at this resort and if so what was the experience. Also what are the places of interest to see around the area.We most likely would not visit Nainital,as we have been there before.
All suggestions would be welcomed.
Many thanks,
jayarep.

I've read about the Pindari Glacier being the most easily accessible glacier in the himalayas. I've read a few travelogues, too about the glacier trek. The only thing I want to know from people who have gone on this trek is that whether I would be able to go on this trek all alone. If yes, what are the resources I would require to undertake this trek and when is the right time to do so. I am eagerly waiting for good suggestions. Thank you.

Please suggest me a very nice Himalayan trek nearby Almora. I have 4 days to complete the trek. The trek shall be at a very good altitude and shall involve views of snow covered mountains. I should be able to do it without any Guide.
