Hi all. Can anyone give me any adivce/opinions on Graciano Cottages. My parents want to book a holiday to Goa. However, they are in their 70's and their mobility is not good so they need to be within spitting distance from the beach and also avoid too many steps, hills etc. Apart from that, they are fun-loving people who love good food and good company. Your help is very much appreciated.

I am planning on travelling up through SE Asia (Singapore, KL) up to Goa and then over to Delhi where I will do an intrepid tour of Nth India.

I will be alone in Goa however, and just wanted to ask some advice..I plan on being there on NYE. I know that there are lots of parties etc during this time.
Since I will be travelling on my own I was wondering if it would be best to stay in a hostel to meet people in my own age group (mid 20's)? I'm not there to party hard or take drugs or anything like that, But I would like to head over to the beach to experience a Goa NYE party. How safe would this be with other travellers or on my own?

Hi, we are holidaying in Goa in January, and we have booked the Silver Sands. I was only able to book 3 rooms through the travel agent but ideally we want 4. i have booked holiday to Goa for next february and have just been informed by travel agent that visa applications have to be done online now, not postal. i do not see how this would work as with photos and passport. has anyone done this at all?

does anyone know whereabouts the colonia braganza hotel is, behind vanessa theatre calangute. i do know calangute area, but not too sure where this is. is it anywhere near the german bakery? we are staying there for a month next february. has anyone stayed there before, if so what is it like?

can someone reccomend a decent hotel in mumbai for an overnight stay that is close to the airport.dont want to pay silly money like some of them are asking.

Am planning to hook up with friends in Goa this New Year, and am trying to find some cheap flights from the UK. Travelling after boxing day and returning a couple of weeks later in the new year. Any suggestions as to where to search and how much the fares are likely to be. Have found flights for £750 so far, is this as cheap as they get?

I m planning to visit Goa in the first week of July. But I have come to know that Goa is not good place in July especially if u r interested in swimming and beaches.

Can anyone let me know whether it is true or not so I can postpone my schedule and book my trip in november/december.

I will go going to Goa in early March next year for 5 days (I am meeting my parents). Can anyone please recommend an area to stay and perhaps a good hotel in that area? We want beach but also some good (and cheap) places to eat and shop. I'd prefer not to do an all inclusive hotel stay, with food.

Any recommendations?

Hi,trying to book our third year at the Ronil beach hotel in Baga but its already booked up,
Has anyone stayed at the Osborne hotel in Calangute and is it close to beach,bars etc or can anyone recommend somewhere close, we use hotel only to sleep and change spending most of our time on beach,regards Jan

I am sure that everyone will be pleased to learn that tomorrow, Friday 6th June, will mark the 8th anniversary of the River Princess being grounded on Candolim beach and it appears that there is still no resolution to the rusting problem.

This is now proving to be an environmental disaster, affecting the seabed and the remains of corroded steel regularly being washed ashore like pieces of shrapnel. The damage continues with every passing day and is gradually changing the topography of the beach.

Will it every be removed??

Well, I'll be traveling alone to Goa in mid of June for a relaxing week. Any advice for excellent hotel in Baga beach "money is not a concern as long as the resort is clean & super.Also if you have any advice on the weather during the month of june.
