My girl friend and I are going to stay at Cavelossim beach at place called Sao Domingo's for two weeks. We love to try the local food and experience the culture and scenary, any advise on this ie. Where to eat places to visit, would be much appreciated, many thanks Steve,Karen.

How is weather in Goa.. I hear its Mansoon there.. some one suggest.. not to go on beaches.. as they are dangerous.. its very common in goa peoples.. drawn in beaches with back waves.. is it true..

I am coming to Goa with my 3 year old twins. They never sleep in the same room as us so we need a cottage/apartment type accomodation as ajoining hotel rooms would cost us a small fortune! Does anybody know where I can find 2 bedroom beach hut type accomoadation? Would be fab if within a hotel complex with a creche/kids club!! And which area would you recommend...I need good amenities but not too loud!

is River Mandovi cruise is available on 22nd june as its mansoon there.. how much is cost and where to book it at panji

we are traveling on 22nd june to 24th june goa..
we have only two nights and three days.. as we planning..short trip...
1 day for beaches and arround..
2.day for juntle trip
3. Goa market
can any one let me know what does it cost Jungle book trip.. and is it possible for only one day tour to jungle book...
or if u can suggest more about fun in goa for short time in Mansoon.. since water sports are not availbale

We are traveling to Goa (4 Adults and 4 Kids) from 23rd of June till 28th of June and we are really very excited as we are going for the first time. Can you please suggest how can we roam around the city with more fun and not so expensive way. We will be staying near Varca Beach. Please suggest us regarding car hire, their rates, best places to visit in Goa etc.

I'm looking at Goa for two weeks in October, I've been to India before but not Goa, on this trip I'll probably book a package from the UK and my first question is who (what company) do you recommend booking with?

I like to swim in the sea and would like a reasonable quiet beach but I wouldn’t mind a few bars (other than the hotel bars) not too far away to visit at night, so my second question is which resort?

I don’t like huge hotel complexes and resorts and don’t mind paying a bit more for a smaller hotel with a little more atmosphere, any suggestions on hotels would be much appreciated.

I’m a Goa virgin so any information, advice, warnings etc would be very welcome.

could any one help me please, once i have my visa,for goa is it possible to use it again when i visit again 3 months after the first trip. ie 2 visits within 6 months.

We are staying in the Victor Exotica in December, has anyone stayed there before? What's the food like and are the rooms as comfortable as they look in the brochure?

I am told that there is a monsoon season?
Anyway we would like to tour but also spend time on the beach,and avoid any heavy rain.

We are planning for a trip to Goa. We are a group of 12 adults and 3 children and are planning to stay at Colva Beach. We intend to hire cars for sightseeing to North Goa and South Goa. Can anyone give us an estimate of the cost involve in hiring a car for a full day of sightseeing to North Goa and South Goa? Also if possible please suggest us names of few Tours and Traveling agency who can provide the cars we need for sightseeing.

i have been on holiday to Goa and posted a large 20 gram parcel by sea mail. when i got home i reallised on the reciept it didnt have my postcode correct or name of town, there is a number instead of letter on postcode, so now i dont know if it will arrive. i would like to know where goods from india dock at in uk. so maybe i can get in touch with them to find parcel. also does anyone know how long parcels take to arrive to uk from Goa. on reciept it has indiapost.

I'll be travelling with my family (parents and aunt) to South India this May and would really like some advice. We're visiting Kerala for a few days and thereafter, going to Tamil Nadu to see a famous church(Velakanni church). Thereafter, we are travelling to Goa and spending about 3 days in Goa.

Can anyone give me any details of apartments in Candolim for Christmas. We have been out in February and was shown some really nice ones, unfortunately the email address we have for the waiter is wrong :0(. Anyway i'm after something in Candolim that's cheap. Near to the beach preferable. There were some behind the sports bar and also some in the grounds of the silver sands holiday village, any details of websites much appreciated. Thanks

Where to spend Apr, May, and June in India? Nice weather/photography trip.

I am planning a 3 month Indian trip (Apri, May, June), I know it is the Indian summer period, and it's a bad time to travel so I wish to explore Himalayan India in May, and June (Kashmir, Uttarchand, Himchal Pradesh, etc...), but the question is where to spend April? I don't like too much humidity, temperatures above 32, or too many rainy days, as I am a photographer, and I need clear skies for my photos. So, where do you recommend in April?

Keep in mind, in March (1 month before entering India), I am in Sri Lanka (I am spending March there), after Sri Lanka, I am flying to India, but I don't know where in India to spend April? I am considering Goa, but my research shows it's really hot, and I prefer breezy beaches, not sweltering.

Aside fro Goa, I am also considering just spending the entire 3 months in the far north of India, taking in Nepal perhaps? If I find a cheap flight (from Sri Lanka to Nepal, I'll take it), and enter northern India after Nepal. Alternately, if I find a cheap flight from Sri lanka, directly to Srinigar, or another Indian Himalayan city, I will take it, and enter Nepal after.

Anyways, let me know your thoughts of India/Nepal in Apr, May, and June.
