hi...any1 can help me wif tis? how can i get to royal castle hotel fr CKS airport? heard that there are airport bus..so wanna which 1 goes 2 there?

My parents were thinking of going to Yang Ming Shan to see the flowers.
Would there still be flowers in April, which is when they were thinking of going?
How does one get from the airport to Yang Ming Shan?
Is there any accomodation around in the area that is clean and affordable?
Is there anything else they should see around the same vicinity as I understand that Yang Ming Shan is not exactly in the city?

Does Taipai have any American Food Restaurants? If so, where do I find information.

i planned to go taipei in mid july to celebrate my 21st birthday. this will be my second time there. the first time i went there, i've been to some of the popular places like:
-ximending
-ferris wheel
-taipei 101
-old danshui streets
-beitou hotspring
-one of the memorial hall near taipei 101?
-wu fen pu
-partyworld

this time round i want to do something different. most probably 5d4n.. i read from previous post about jiu fen and hot spring in wu lai..some post mention abt keelung? can someone tell me more about that?? i have not book hotel and flight.. but most probably i'll stay somewhere in ximending..

I have five hours in Keelung and I would like to go to Jiufen, Can anyone tell me how to get there via public transportation, or is taxi a better option? How much would it cost with taxi? Thanks.

my flight from osaka arrives in taipei at around 2pm, and i travel onward to manila the following day at 1pm. for sure, i want to check out the city during my limited time in taiwan. my questions:

-they have lockers/left luggage services at the airport, right? shouldn't be a prob if i leave my luggage overnight, right?
-how much time should i allot to travel from the city to the airport?
-must-sees and not to be missed in these few hours..
-where can i go in the morning?
-suggestions on souvenirs that are not found anywhere else ;)

I'm going Taipei this week. There are a few places I'm thinking of going but have no idea how to get there. I'm staying at Royal Castle. Please advise on how to get to the following places from my hotel!! Really appreciate all your help!!!

Are the above places worth going?? What other places should I visit?

I am visiting Taiwan. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. I prefer staying in newly built hotels. Are there any newly built 4 star hotels in Taipei? If not, maybe 4 star hotels that are less than 5 years old. Thanks.

I plan on purchasing a computer in the very near future, and it just so happens I'll also be in Taiwan in the very near future. I kind of have my heart set on a macbook. I was just wondering if these are sold at all in Taiwan and if they were the same price or cheaper.

Another question. If I were not set on a Mac book, does Taiwan offer any reliable, competitive, and cheaper (than the States) alternatives? Could I purchase a reliable computer in Taiwan for cheaper than I could back in the States?

I have not really seen many reviews on East Dragon Hotel even though it is located at a very convenient place too in XMT.

I have reserved a triple room in this hotel (Did some research and it seems that this is the only hotel in XMT that provides triple room at a reasonable rate and the additional bed is not the foldable type).

Can someone who has stayed in this hotel provides some reviews on it, i.e. is the hotel clean, are the rooms big,etc? And does the Freego bus stops in front of this Hotel from CKS Airport? How do I take the Freego bus from CKS Airport to this hotel?

I'm going to be in Taipei February 28th & 29th and I'm looking to find a hotel close to the shopping as well a close to a good night club. Somewhere people dance.

Any suggestions on hotel and club/bar/nightlife???

Does a white American have anything to worry about in Taipei? For example, don't want the streets at night alone. Is it like most big cities where there are good and bad areas?

Where is a good place to meet other travelers or locals? What percentage of the locals speak English?

hi.. sorry to trouble again. can anyone help on the locations of ye4 dian4 that are often frequented by celebrities? my frds and i are hoping to get the chance to meet some celebrities, as well as to experince those ye dian or ming ge chan ting.

I will like to ask if the weather permit for outdoor activites? Will be going to yangmingshan and yeliu these places and hope the weather allow us to goes there. Thks for any assistance provide.

i'll be going to taipei in jan with 3 other friends for 4D3N, and i need some advice on getting around, what to see and abt the neijiang hotel, which we've booked for our stay.

how much would a taxi ride from the cks airport to neijiang cost? would it be better (i.e. cheaper and more convenient) for us to take the bus? which bus should we take from the airport? i've heard a lot abt freego on this forum, but i have no idea where it will stop us and stuff like that.

to get around taipei (e.g. to shilin market or cks memorial hall), better to take the mrt or taxis? safe to take bus?

what are the MUST SEE sights in taipei? on my list i've got the changing of guards at cks memorial hall, taipei 101, shilin and raohe night markets, ximending, national palace museum, beitou hotsprings. is the sun yat sen memorial hall worth going to?

has anyone stayed in the neijiang hotel recently? how did you find it? and i'm feeling a bit insecure abt the booking. i called them to book (gave them my name, eta and date of arrival) and all they gave me was a six digit number. is that how it usually works? and i forgot to ask the guy i talked to for his name. is my booking secured?

Plan to spent our cny holiday 3 nights 4 days in Taipei next year. We will arrive from Singapore around past noon time at csk airport. Also, we would like to have our wedding photos to be taken there. Pls pardon me to have a few questions to ask:


1) If stay at Rainbow Hotel, is it convenient to go to 101 building, shilin night market etc

2)Roughly we know weather is about 15-20 around that time. As for winter jacket, is it necessary to get thick one with internal fabric of down feather? Or just a knit sweater / jeans jacket will do?

3) Does or can we arrange with Rainbow hotel to provide pick up transport frm airport-hotel upon our arrival, and hotel-airport during our departure?

4) Can you recommend wedding photos studios for us?

5) Does the photographer have our wedding pictures done both in studio & outdoor?

6) Roughly how much will the price be? And do we require to have whole day for our pictures to be taken?

7) How to arrange appointment with them for our wedding pictures?

8) Can the photos be ready during our short stay there?

9) Lastly, beside Taipei. Possible for us to go ocean park or any places of interest?
