Lille Soccer Jersey Posted: Fri July 21, 2006 05:08 PM UTC
where could one get a lille football jersey? i've scoured the web, haven't had luck. all i've run into is the 1950s throwback jersey here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000GB0LRU/ref=ord_cart_shr/103-6461455-6073460?%5Fencoding=UTF8&m=A2Q41P19X5JJI&v=glance&n=1036592
as long as it's from the actual team, i'm willing to purchase, but which websites would be best for a current jersey. thank you.

Cheap or free Car parking in Lille / se garer a Lille pour pas cher Posted: Mon May 15, 2006 05:48 PM UTC
Hi
I'll be arriving in Lille by car on a Saturday morning and staying at the very centre (Parvis St Maurice). I'd like to park the car until Sunday morning as we won't need it to visit the town centre.
The hotel charge a lot for parking. Can anyone suggest a safe and cheap or free place to park, even if I hace to go a bit out of the centre (as long as it's close to a tram station)?
Thanks
Bonjour
Merci
A.

Driving between Paris and Brugge Posted: Mon April 17, 2006 05:38 PM UTC
We will be travelling from Paris to Brugge - but would like to spend one night somewhere in between. We would like to rent a car and just explore. We love small villages, pretty drives, quaint towns, etc.
Any suggestions for spots we can explore and then stay for one night? I was thinking either in Normandy or Northern France/Lille area - somewhere close enough to drive to Brugge the next day.

Hi,
I shall be visiting Lille soon with a few people (females), our ages range from 25 upto 70.

Ideas for a quick day trip? Posted: Sun May 15, 2005 09:15 PM UTC
I am trying to help my mum and aunt (visitng from canada) plan a day trip to Lille on the Eurostar. They would like to visit on a Sunday - is there much to see and do on a Sunday? Can anyone give me some tips for shopping and sightseeing. As far as I can tell, they just fancy a ride on the Eurostar and a nice, reasonably priced meal and then some time to wander around the town and do a bit of food shopping. All tips and advice appreciated. They do not really speak much French - will they be ok?!

I am planning on travelling by rail from Lille to Paris Nord on a Sunday in May.
Are my only 2 options Thayls or TGV? Do they have a cheaper rail trip.
Can someone please advise if this is the only way to get to Paris Nord by train from Lille.
Trying to keep cost to a minimum and dont mind taking a longer journey if required.
Thanks

Study french in Lille or Strasbourg Posted: Tue March 1, 2005 06:26 PM UTC
I am going to study french for a year before attending the french university.
Lille and Strasbourg seem nice and I can't make my decision yet.
The language institutes are Département des Etudiants de l'Etranger - Lille 3
and IIEF Université Marc Bloch strasbourg.
My interests are travelling and visiting both old and new architecture.
I 'd love to stay in a city with lots of things and places to discover.
Please help me comparing these two.
If anybody got an information about the language institutes, please post a reply
Thanks!!!!!

Where to stay in Lille Posted: Sat October 30, 2004 04:44 AM UTC
Hi, I'm going to France for 3 months mid Nov-mid Feb and intend to base myself in Lille. What kind of accommodation would be available for me and at what kind of price? I would consider rental or possibly homestay / private board.
Also, does anyone know of any cheap (but not dodgy!) places to stay until I find a permanent place? Youth hostel sort of arrangement probably, I guess.
Thanks

I want to visit Roubaix the weekend of 11/12 December, staying in Lille for the Saturday night, but the cheapest deal was £165 with VBF. Can anyone reccomend anyone cheaper? Eurostar was even more expensive when you read the small print.
